..Wife got a scratch card last night and the middle game had a pound sign and £250,000!!!! i rang as you would and was told it had to be the exact symbol ( a £ with a bag round it) bugger...thought our money woes were over...should have known better. :'(
Hard luck!
(I just modified the title, BTW- swearing is fine, but in capitals on the front of the forum looks a bit shocking!)
aye, fair enuff
Never mind. Money isn't everything. It helps a lot but it's only a tool.
I know the feeling - when the euromillions had that stupidly huge jackpot recently I bought tickets online. Got an email saying "good news about your euromillions ticket" and nearly had a heart attack - turns out I'd won £2.60
i had mini mog asking "are we rich dad?" you could see her planning an assault at toys r us!
Aw, man. Sorry to hear that.
When I was in primary school a younger kid won a huge amount on a scratchcard, then scratched off the (now thankfully scrapped) 'void if removed' panel.
Me, I had a Nirvana ticket for a concert due on the date of Kurt's death. In my youthful naivete I refused to profit from it, and returned it to HMV for the sixteen pounds I paid for it. Fuck my youthful naivete.
Still, like the others say, money isn't everything. If anyone thinks it makes them happy, look at Kurt himself. And Amy Winehouse, Heath Ledger, the guy from Citizen Kane, and thousands more.
Money isn't everything.
It will only buy you a nice house, holidays, a better education for your kids, better health care, better dental care and an all round sense of well being.
And girls. Dont forget girls.

You are all so materialistic...
Don't forget, lots of Judge Uniforms, for all the forum ;)
