Hello all, just paying it forward.
I've got a PB of John W. Campbell's "Who Goes There", which was the inspiration for The Thing. I know there are plenty of fans of that film on the board - the book is gripping in it's own right. Anyway, not sure why I'm trying to sell it to you when I'm not trying to sell it to you; free to whoever claims it first.
Yes please! ive been after that for ages!

I had a feeling you'd claim this 'un, Steeve :D. It's yours!
Cheers my friend, do you need my address again, or is it now burned into your brain?
And shall i just come round yours and sift through your unwanted bits (madam!), saving a ton of digital ink in future threads such as this? :D

:D...I've got boxes of books to go through yet, so I'll let you know if anything catches my eye. I've still got your address - look for this at the end of the week.
Sorry to the rest of you lads. Wish I had copies enough for all!

Then again Mrs of Death probably wouldn't have been happy with you if you had a dozen copies of the book lying around in the house, as I'd have taken one off you too ;)
There is a cheaper version due out for Xmas if people are interested in it:
www.amazon.co.uk/Who-Goes-There-John-Campbell/dp/0575091037/
There is a Kindle listing at Amazon.com:

I am not sure of copyright status (a lot of the early sci-fi pulps never had their copyright renewed) and it might be available fro free from Wowio:
