next stage of my dredd v death leg piece , couple of weeks then get the final background story board with the other 3 dark judges and judges from the story , cant wait to get it finished, have been a Dredd fan since I bought the 1st prog on the way to school and lost the space spinner on the way home ☺☺☺☺

Which tattooist?
The tattooist is Rod Wyton who owns Holdfast Custom Tattoo in Northwich Cheshire UK , he is a fantastic artist and a great guy and he grew up with 2000ad so has a special place in his heart which I know he is putting into this work :) :) :)

Looks great! Nice and consistent with the style of the Dredd one.
I was going to be getting my Death/Anderson piece finished today but my artist, bless him, wanted to get started on a huge grim reaper he'd been working on for me across my shoulderblades just above Judge Death's head (yes I have rather morbid taste in tattoos). I couldn't refuse him as he was so enthusiastic but that means the shading and blackwork on Death's head, chest and pterodactyl-pad remains unfinished for another two weeks and I don't really wanna put a picture up until it's completed.
Ho-hum.
Hopefully soon, though...

Cheers! :) The reaper one's probably not gonna be finished for a couple of months and I'm sort of reluctant to really show it to anyone 'til it's completed (hence no "in-progress" photos of Death). I might eventually put a picture up, though.
I'll probably eventually add another sort of companion panel on the other side of my back starring Dredd. It'd have to be a Bolland Dredd too, though, to go with the Bolland Death. Bolland's my favourite Dredd artist and I was a bit worried about how he'd translate to skin because of his particular style. Luckily my tattoo artist's very precise and he pulled it off well, I think (had to substitute some of Bolland's hatching for just grey shading in parts as the hatching lines just wouldn't have worked when blown up to that size).
