After lurking around the forums for about a year and a half, and having this account for six-ish months, I decided I now might as well introduce myself.
I started picking up the Prog regularly with Prog 1736, the Jack Dancer lord of the dance cover, and pretty much decided to stay with the comic full-time once The Bryan Q Miller Batgirl series was cancelled. In that time I've been through the Day of Chaos, saw a zombie
be reincarnated AS A PLANET
, I've travelled with the Zaucer of Zilk, and much more. I can truly say that since the final issue of Bryan Q Miller's Batgirl 2000AD has been the main thing that has kept me reading comics.
Hm, was about to say "welcome", then I saw your bit about how long you've had this account. Anything in particular that drew you to 2000AD in the first place?

I'd picked up The Complete Ballad of Halo Jones up before while working my way through Alan Moore's British work and I just loved it. Then about 2 years back I was given Judge Dredd: America by my A Level Ethics teacher because she knew I liked comics, and I had brought up Batman, Rorschach, and The Spirit during a class discussion. She was kinda surprised that I didn't know much of Dredd, or 2000AD really.
A year and a half back I was on my way back from a Job Centre meeting, turns out I should have actually given a crap about my exams, and I saw the Prog at a newsagents and just decided to pick it up. I've picked up every Prog and Meg since then.
Hey up, damswedon and welcome to (posting) on the forum
I must admit I joined way early in the year and with one thing and another (selling a house! Ahhh!), I've not thought to hop on and take a look around. 2000 AD has been my comic of choice this year after dropping a ton of U.S. books. I'm churning through the case files at present and looking forward to chatting with like-minded readers. So welcome to you also I guess ;)
