Just found out there a comic con in my neck of the woods this year, Kilmurray Lodge, Limerick, 28th April. They are looking for people to set up stands, sourcing guests, looking for suggestions etc. so here are the contact details if you are looking for information:

I may be able to make this, not too far of a drive, I will shoot them a mail tonight.
It will be interesting to see what sort of line up they produce.

A bit of a drive for me, but I could be persuaded to attend if the line-up is decent.
It's nice to have a con so close. So I'm definitely going to pop in for a few hours.
Ireland is really spoiled this summer with comic talent.
Gail Simone at Octocon, Charlie Adlard at Dublin Comic Con and Doug Braithwaite and Greg Capullo at DICE.
Table booked, be interesting to see what guests they line up.

There was a comic mart in Ennis on the 23rd...anybody go to that?
Funnily I had forgot about this and was just looking at the Facebook page and noticed it hadnt been updated is a while, Glad I hadnt paid by the deadline..
On a better note I have booked a table at 2D in Derry for the saturday of the weekend, really looking forward to that.

Think I'll make D2 this year, so maybe it's for the best that my wallet doesnt get depleted before that.
Also, the line-up for DICE 2013 is looking promising for September too.
PJ Holden has just signed on for DICE...i'll be hounding him for a Dredd sketch this year!
Sad to see that this isn't going ahead, but DICE looks like it'll be a lot of fun this year , so I'll definitely be at that.
