This is the event that I attended last year and had a great time and not just because of the Dredd stuff but everything else that went on over the weekend. I'm going this time as well and I think a few other Judges may be there also. Myself and Judge Court did a Mega Patrol last year and the uniforms went down a blast!
Here is the LINK (http://www.londonfilmandcomiccon.com/) for the event. It's at Earls Court 2 this year!
Below are those planned on doing photo shoots with the public and yes it costs (look at the link). Those in Bold could be having a pic with Senior Street Judge Burdis, unless new additions push them down my list ;)
Adrienne Barbeau
Amanda Tapping
Armin Shimerman
Aron Eisenberg
Avery Brooks
Barry Jenner
Bruce Gray
Clive Russell
Colin Baker
Courtney Gains
Dee wallace
Jason Momoa
Jennifer Calvert
John Franklin
Kenny Baker

Linda Hamilton
Louise Jameson
Max Grodenchik
Meg Foster
Michael Shanks
Nicole DeBoer

Lucky them ;)
I'm sure they'll frame it and put it on there mantel piece, Burdis.
I bet they will as well ;)
Got to put this on the list.. Can't miss out on a chance to have my pic taken with Judge Burdis..

You'll be coming to Cardiff on Saturday , won't you? I think John will be in uniform there?
I shall not be drinking this time, as I become a nightmare :o
Remember, what happens at the con, stays at the con :-X

You really shouldn't miss the chance to hand him his ass - well if you're tasty like wot I am.

He owes me one for the crew shirt I gave him anyway :)
I do occasionally let someone land one on me and you can have that pose at Cardiff Michael :D
Ma Ma herself, yes folks Lena Headey is confirmed for this event. Photo op is a go ;)
She's ready.
She charges £25.00 a time...
Booked my tickets with Lena Headey, two uniformed and one in civvies. Linda Hamilton has work commitments so that's buggered a pic with her.
At the moment we have 5 Planet Replica Judges on patrol at this event, moi, Judge Court, Lemmy and Pal plus Judge Anderson will be there for the Saturday only.
I'll probably book some other photos on the Saturday morning, as we get in before the crowds. Looking forward to trying a group shot with Lena on the Saturday, which we have the idea for already, just gotta see if we are allowed to do it ;)
If the event is anything like last year it should be a blast.
P.S. We are hoping on some 2012 Judges at the event as well but no numbers are confirmed, as of yet!
Good luck with that CF, sounds cracking
Should be fun - had a good vibe last year with the Dredd sneak preview.
Would be great to get a photo of all the Judges with Lena.
This does look good, and the chance to meet Ma-Ma would have been great.
Im in London the following week, and unfortunatley i couldnt swing it to bring that trip forward slightly. :(
Plenty of photo's CF, plenty of photos!

Yep, I'll 'second' that !!
Looking forward to seeing
Ma-Ma with a contingent of Judges..... :D...
Nice one
CF...
All my photos will be from other people but mainly Steve Green when I'm at the event and he's the one I always thank. Otherwise you wouldn't know that I was there ;)
As for the Ma Ma shoot, it seems that only two can be in the photo with her but we shall see if a section of Judges, a smidge of pleading and a wee bit of the gift of the gab works in our favour!
Not going to make Friday or Saturday...Not likely on Sunday either... :|
Bugger!
That is a bugger Nick!
News just in, Six Planet Replica Judges will now be on patrol on the Saturday. That's five males and fan favourite Anderson. So get yourself along for a picture and to be beaten up, of course ;)

The wonders of the highlight function!
I'm debating applying for planning permission from the wife to attend :) However, I'm not entirely sure how the meeting the comic guests bit works. As some of you may know, I'm a total sucker for getting my books signed and would dearly love to meet and chat to Adi Granov and David Lloyd, but I can't seem to find any info on whether these are ticketed, or you just randomly queue, or what?
Any help from people who can use websites better than me ( :)) or who have been before and know how this works very much appreciated
Last year was a different location but I presume it will be the same type of layout!
The TV/Movie bods were all at the rear of the hall and you paid for their signatures. The comic bods and sellers were at the front and you just queued up for them and paid for things that you bought off them!
In other words, it was like a normal convention for the comic bods.
Thanks CF. Appreciate the help. Right, must go and fill in Form 2/KA/D and submit to the Planning Approval Board for issuance of a weekend pass :)
Someone posted this layout for this year
(http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a302/SHattrick/LFCC2013-1.png)
Assuming it's like last year, you have a few of the big names (like Karl was last year) tucked away in booths, with the others on various tables.
So it varied according to how famous the names were. Unless it was someone like Stan Lee you should just be able to queue up on the day.
Not long now and I can't wait :D
Barring any last minute hiccups, me and my lad should be in attendance Saturday morning and seeking a photo op with Judge Burdis and pals. :)
We look forward to seeing you, just make yourself known. When I was at a con the other day, my wife's boss and his son had their photo's taken with me. My missus thought it was hilarious when it cropped up at her workplace, as they never knew who I was, even with the same name on the badge!
Obviously she did say, that was my husband
So is anyone else from the forum popping along to this event next week?

Sadly no. I will be in London but I will be at the American Beer Festival at the White Horse, Parsons Green. I'd promised a friend I would go and then the dates clashed.
Oh well.......BEER! :D
It is virtually next door... well within staggering distance...
Do we know which Judges will be attending Sunday....
Moi, Judge Pal, Judge Lemmy and Judge Court.
Alas Judge Anderson is Saturday only folks! The other male Judge I know not.
There are a few 2012 Judges including Judge Labelle at the con as well.
Yeah, the other Judge will be sat only as well, as Steve S is only down for that day, and taking the costumes back with him.
So 6 Comic Judges on Sat, 4 on Sun presumably + any other judges.
Herself and I will be there on Saturday.. Buying tickets at the door, though..
The last one did have a big queue but it seemed to move quite briskly - less painful than the ones at Excel anyway.
It seems that Ma Ma was Wally Squad :o

Just got back in after a morning at the London Comic Con. Firstly, gutted we couldn't find Judge Burdis. Me and the boy looked everywhere. You couldn't move for stormtroopers and very large gents dressed as Anakin Skywalker, but no judges in sight :(
We did, however, get to have a good chat with art droids Chris Weston and Kev Hopgood. Chris was very complimentary on my sons art that he showed him and has asked that he be sent pictures of more when he finishes it. He was a proper gent. Kev is a thoroughly nice bloke, and was somewhat swamped by the queue for David Lloyd - so if you are heading down later today or tomorrow, make sure you don't miss him! He has had a clear out and is selling loads of prelims. Big mistake we made was to look at the David Lloyd queue and decide to come back later. Doh! It just kept getting longer! So I didn't get my V For Vendetta signed...
Loads of great stalls, although very few selling comics and none I saw selling books. If you like your Lego, there was a couple of guys selling some older Star Wars and other character sets at fairly reasonable prices. They also had the minifigs in packets. When my son asked for one, they asked him what character he wanted and then, by feel, found him it in the sealed packet! Still charged him only £2 for each one! Great service! If you want a vinyl floor with an image of your favourite comic page, seek out Tufts Flooring and Alien Couture had loads of great character handbags and cushions (£15 a cushion is a great price for retro 80s Sci Fi chic I'm told!)
We were done by 11.15 as my son had had enough, and on the way to catch the 74 bus, saw that the queue outside was enormous! Snaked all the way round Earls Court. It was definitely best to get there early and pay extra for the tickets.
If you do decide to head down there, hope you enjoy yourselves!
I just saw some Judges I recognise on Sky news (of all things) trying to get a link but it doesn't want to work the item featured David Hasselhoff as well plugging his comic book!
The 6 Planet Replicas Judges were swamped all the time with beating requests!
Wait till you see the pics later with Ma Ma, that's unless you are on Facebook. Another awesome day in the life of a Dredd fan :D
Yep, there's a report on the sky news site with Burdis, Lemmy, Pal, Court and Anderson arresting a perp.
Great shot of the Judges on patrol on that Sky News article. Still bummed we missed them (God knows how!). Me and my boy are just walking behind the zombie soldier (who was really great!). I kind of noticed a camera when he was attacking my lad and then as he heads off towards the camera as we are walking away. Fame at last....

Let's start a rumour that the Minty sequel will be Cry of the Werewolf!
Haha, yep.
Whoever was in that costume must have been dying of heatstroke - Burdis was like a water feature, I can't imagine what it was like in all that fur.
That's a great shot Steve!
Thanks - I got a few, but it was pretty busy and having a large group of judges meant that people wanted photos even more than usual.
Should be a little quieter today, sadly Anderson was only down for yesterday.
Was very happy that they snuck onto a Sky News report though.
Really, really wish I was not skinny... Very jealous of the fun you all had *sob* and more fun today...
Oh well. I have Thought Bubble to look forward to & I am bringing back-up. Still not Dredd/Minty cosplaying though. Won't do that till I can come up with a good costume that suits my build & the setting. Don't want a half-baked look for that.

Rest assured it was roasting - Unless you were cosplaying as a working aircon unit, you were probably going to suffer.
Indeed. On the first day I managed a seven hour stint with a 30 minute break. Thanks to the sterling efforts of Steve Green and Steven Sterlaccini we were all kept well hydrated.
However, the second day I think I only managed four hours tops. The heat was just ridiculous, and I was suffering from two evenings if heavy drinking too.
This week is going to be a long detox - water, fruit and veg, and resting my weary bones. I ache all over.
It's bloody brilliant! :D
half and hour in the sleep machine then back on the street buddy, we're short of helmets post DoC or ain'tcha heard?

Brilliant stuff Mr Claypole
Nice punch, John!
How 'Scream' would have ended if it were set in Mega City One.

Cover of the year!Shirley this should be on pete's cover blog?
Wow - looks like you all had a great time.
Especially jealous of those who got to meet Lena.
Also like to commend your stamina for going round in full leathers last weekend. That was a scorcher and I was getting too hot in shorts and t-shirt. Outstanding effort!
Urgh - am in work, and really feeling it today, maybe worse than yesterday. Want to go home and crawl into bed.
It was still totally worth it though! :D
'Ooh, put your nightstick on my chin - ooh, groovy baby, yeah!'

Arresting Vyvyan Basterd called for a very special blend of psychology and extreme violence.

The surprisingly Northern Integra looks cute even when she's drenched in sweat, but the single bead of perspiration visibly making its way down Burdis's leather-clad chest during that clip is less endearing.
The funny thing is, when Steve came outside and found us he did ask why we were stood in direct sunlight and not in shade, less than 10 foot to our right.
We had no answer
I don't think there were any places to cool down really - the concession outside thought the best place to put their bottles of water was in direct sunshine in a tin-bath... no ice, just a tin bath.
They didn't sell many.

Justice Dept gave us special dispensation to get about 4 hours of natural sleep each night. ;)
Here's a cracker from Steve again, and currently has more likes on Facebook than any of my other posted pics so far. It's pretty clear why!

We have to give our newest recruit, Judge Lemmy, credit for the idea behind that shot. Here's Lemmy's original concept pic:

Hello all. Just wanted to say that i had a fantastic time at LFCC. Meeting a lot of Judges for the first time(Burdis,Munkeh, fields,LaBelle and more) Judge Court was great and looked after this Judge in our quest just to find our travelodge!!
The patrols were fantastic and we attracted A LOT of attention. at one poit i think we could not move because of picture ops for WEEEELLLLL over an hour. it was brutal. but we were blessed by having Steve and Steven at the ready with water etc (thanks guys)
To the Judges......Thanks for looking after me and being great, fantastic, drunken and AWESOME company. we set up, patrolled and destroyed London! AND drank from the Cock.........tavern!
and even got our full group shot with MaMa. when i can work out how to...i shall put up a pic of the signed photo(i think i am not allowed to do that yet)
