Title: London Collecting Tips...
Post by: Bloved on 05 March, 2013, 03:47:37 PM
Hi Guys, I've recently moved to London and I'm totally unaware of where to go to get my comics fix.

I'm aware of Forbidden Planet (I met Robert Llewellyn there this weekend :D) and Orbital Comics, but other than that what would you recommend?

Also, what market places/charity shops am I likely to find comics/collectables in?

Thanks!

Depends where you are really.  Obviously there's the stores in the centre of town, but there's quite a few local comic shops as well.  Mega City in Camden is good, and there's a few others too.

I would agree with Mega City, the name is reason itself!

Ooh, Megacity sounds good.  I'll have to make a special trip.

I'll probably try Gosh this weekend, since I'm likely to be in the centre.

I'm near Willsden Juction at the moment, anyone know any local comic shops?

As an update, for anyone else in the area.

Orbital are good, plenty of older 2000AD.  Haven't found the service so great, not bad, just not great.

Gosh! on the other hand, fantastic!  Went in, had a chat to the guy downstairs, got plenty of 2000AD and some Crisis! (Including #1) for 50p each!
