It'll be a while before its complete (http://www.amazon.com/Judge-Dredd-Complete-Carlos-Ezquerra/dp/1613775504#reader_1613775504):

Here's the UK amazon link, given that the US pre order price is about £19, we're getting fucked.

Don't worry. It's Amazon. Keep your eye's peeled and the price will be down to a couple of quid before long.
Better get in there quick before it jumps up again though.
;)
I buy a lot of hardback editions, and always order through amazon.com. The shipping to the UK is around 8 days, and the price saving is often huge. Shipping cost is surprisingly reasonable. As a book, customs cannot charge you any duty.
Only issue is if there is damage - I got my DC 52 book (1000+ pages) and it has a cut that looks like it was done with an axe.
It does seem kind of insane that they're calling these 'Complete'. Do they really plan on collecting all of Ezquerra's Dredd work...!?
Even stranger that they seem to be focusing on artists that - Bolland aside - don't have much of a profile in the states.
They look nice, but the main IDW thing I'm interested in is the colourised classics - can't wait for those bad boys!
Just ordered it. $28 with free shipping. It'll be in my grubby hands Monday morning. Pre-ordered the Cam Kennedy one for the same price. Very excited.
I'm going to order this from IDWLimited
A lil pricey, but the Brian Bolland Red Label edition is pretty sweet.
You can order it on 4/16
They don't have it listed yet, but here's a link for the Bolland one, just to give you an idea on what to expect for the Ezquerra edition.

:lol:Right. Complete. Must say, I cannot get enough Carlos Ezquerra....and there is plenty.
The IDW version will be tempting.

There's a few copies up on E-Bay now. Ranging from £26.00ish to around that Amazon price.
Hopefully this'll drop in price...
Flipped through it in a comic shop yesterday. Reproductions looks great. Easily as good a quality as the Bolland one. "Complete"'s a bit of a misnomer. Obviously there's no Apocalypse War here but it pretty much covers all of Carlos' b&w work for 2000AD. I feel like there's some missing though. Could be wrong though. Only glanced through it pretty quick. (Comic store was charging almost $60 for it though...)
Noticed there is now a blue label edition containing a sketch. Price is steep considering you can get a full blown commission for around the same price.
Mine arrived this morning. A thing of beauty.

Now this i would like.
Its a forgone conclusion itll be hideously expensive though - and incredibly limited and hard to track down, at only just 25 copies.
A quick look online shows no copies floating around, as yet. Anyone seen one for sale?
I see you can pre-order (http://idwlimited.com/series/judge-dredd.html) it here. $495 (roughly £325). Gulp.
Just ordered the Red Label. Would love to have gotten the Blue, but it's just too steep for me. Perhaps in the future since there will be other editions.
Received my copy of the standard version today. Only flicked through, but some of the reproduction is truly awful. What a shame.
Really? Then that would indeed be a shame.
There are pages that appear to be taken from the prog itself, with some clean up in the whites. A very lazy attempt. Really is a shame as I bought this hoping for better reproduction than the recent reprints, but I think it's worse. I may do a side by side comparison if I can.

That would be great,
torque. I guess some use of less than perfect material is always gonna factor for stuff that is of a certain vintage. The original scans would be long gone or badly damaged in some cases. Some of the early UK case files used stuff that looked like it was taken directly from the prog as well.
I can't wait till Judge Dredd: The Complete Ron Smith comes out.
*chuckles*

Hope Burdis has fire insurance incase that thing gets caught up in one. :o

Along side a companion book of the (much wished for) complete Ron Smith Daily Star Judge Dredd collection.
Combined, I reckon that would cause more than a few Posties to go off work with Hernia's.

Incredibly, he stated on this very forum that the prices of the red and blue label versions are too steep. Lightweight.
