The kid was pleased with it, and I wasn't going to rain on his parade. I got a great photo with him later - in uniform I held him upside down by his ankle, gesturing at the tattoo (which was on his calf) with my daystick. The pic should be up by Thurs.

They were up for some photos of being 'judged', but between their performances, my patrol and them almost setting everyone ablaze, we never got round to it.
The changing room was a nice safe haven from it all - at one point we were all sat around half naked, repairing bits of outfits (the crotch of my uniform split again - make of that what you will), and chatting away quite happily. It was all very pleasant and civilised, and not the debauched scene I may have inferred previously. :lol:

My zip went again too! Luckily it happened when I was about 20 yards from the changing room, so was able to stop everything flopping out for the brief dash to my repair kit.
And the Velcro went on the eagle shoulder pad again. John, you'll be pleased to hear I took (some of) your advice, and actually had the gear on me to fix everything this time!!!

Now we know what Dredd keeps in those pockets on his gloves... needle and thread!!
