The penultimate epsiode of
Icarus Dangerous by
Dirk Van Dom, Stephen Prestwood and Jim Campbell!
Near drowned following his plunge into the icy depths of the Aegean Sea. Transformed into a true winged champion by alien 'Artist' Meriope. Transported billions of light years from Earth by skeletoid bounty-hunter Dax and sent on a mission to liberate Artisan IV from it's deranged ruler Callista. Young Icarus of Crete has not been having a good day...and it's far from over. With the majority of their group lost in battle, Icarus and Meriope are betrayed by Dax, who is revealed to have been working with Callista all along. As Meriope is taken for purposes unknown, a badly wounded Icarus (his wings destroyed by Callista) faces off with Bonehead Dax in a fight to the death...

Oooh, now this looks very intruiging. Might pick up an issue at the weekend.
Bloody hell - £6.99 shipping on a £2.50 comic? they're taking the piss. That's turned out to be a very expensive comic. Oh well. ::)
Now that IS expensive! Did it not give you the option to change to a non-tracked delivery for less than half that? Or are you outside of the UK?
I'll make it up to you; PM me and let me know if you are want any back issues and I'll send you a pdf version of them along.
(Note to others, you can also order via my blog where the P&P is only £1.25)
I'd love to know what you think of it once it turns up!
And to entice you further, we have more!

Some days I get a bit demoralised by the comic publishing lark then I dig out the back issues and think 'No, I'm proud of that lot'
As well you should be, Dave. Publishing 13 issues and counting (plus collections) of a small-press comic is no mean feat, and I'm not just saying that 'cos I'm in a few of 'em!
