Hi Everyone
I have a friend at work who doesn't read comics who has found a large box of comics in his loft left by some poor sod.
He offered them to me but I am skint.
Amongst the haul are the first sixty or so copies of Deadline. At a push I was considering offering him about £20 for the lot.
He has subsequently popped them on Ebay with a buy it now price of £400 (!). Initially he had them on for £500 (!!).
Does anyone know what a realistic price for the Deadline comics would be. They all seem to be a good nick.
That looks very pricey, I know a lot of Deadlines are up there around a fiver on ebay, but they don't move much. It depends if he really wants to shift them quick or happy to have em sticking around for ages waiting on the right buyer, if It was me, and I know little about these things, I would have auctioned them, starting at £50 plus P&P.
Yeah I sold a copy (Issue 7) recently and got 99p for it, all I expected. Some of the first issues might be worth a bit more but they don't go for much.
You'd expect to pay around £30-£50 for a NM copy of issue 1, other than that, as Colin mentions- a quid an issue sounds bout right.
Many thanks for the replies. I think he has now reduced his listing.
I have my own query now.
I have the first two Miracleman Trades that I'm thinking of selling.
Do you think it would be better to sell them together or individually?
Cheers
Rich
