Here's a link to the COMPLETE DOOMLORD Volumes - the missing opus by Dredd writers Wagner & Grant. I've put a link to volume 3 because of the fantastic HENRY FLINT sketch,
Check out the other 2 volumes with sketches from Dylan Teague and Chris Weston.
Nifty.
WOW.
Rebellion: License that!
NERDGASM.
One of the most divine pieces of comics porn I've ever seen. Will someone not get the rights and release this to the world?
I've just cum. In my blue pants.
That is fantastic Robert, I even spotted the Liam Sharp cover to Eagle Flies Again, now thats complete!
Brilliant!, somebody release those now!
Energiser to gobsmack! Beautiful work.
Fucking incredible, and very professionally done. I'd buy them, since when Wagner and Grant were pumping out those stories I was just a wee Asterix and Dennis the Menace freak. For anyone else who saw this thread and jumped on Amazon to order the complete set, this thread will explain what Robert's been up to in his spare time:

How come the photo strip isn't included?
They would be in book 1?
Oh, there's another volume? Ii thought this was the complete Doomlord?
It's complete but split into 3 volumes roughly 450 pages in each. If you look at the YouTube link all 3 volumes are there - photo stories included!
Ah, I see! Cheers.
Doomlord was a load of rubbish...Fifty quid the lot and I'm robbin' meself.
Lovely stuff. How did you beat the format change and crappy paper stock - are all the pages new scans of the originals and resized?
How much did each book cost? I'm guessing at least a complete Zenith each!
They look great. So many comics strips from the past that I would love to own in collections like that. I don't suppose you could elaborate on the process. How long did it take you to scan the pages? Did you send the files to a professional printer and binder? Have you plans for any more collections?
Everything that everyone else said.....!!
An absolutely fantastic piece of work....It looks astonishing and I'd buy that !!
Cheers

I was only a fiver over my overdraft limit and the bastards are charging me a complete Zenith for the privilege.
Normally the Goodyears are 60 quid each, but I can do you a new front pair for a complete Zenith if you're paying cash.
I know a monkey's £500, but how many ponies make a complete Zenith?Someone needs to contact Suzie Dent from the Oxford English Dictionary - she loves this kind of thing.
This time I treated myself to an a3 scanner. This meant the pages could lie really flat. I made sure to write the page number on every page before cutting them out and scanning. I resized and retouched them in photoshop at 300dpi- the photo stories were a right pest because of the black bar and they bleed to the edge of the page. I tweaked the contrast before importing all the files to Indesign. This allows the pages to be seen as double page spreads plus add page numbers and titles to multiple pages at once. Designing the contents, cover and extras is the fun part. These 3 books (approx 1350 pages) have taken over 6 months to format. I printed them out myself - having a duplex (double sided) printer is advisible. The local bookbinder charges £45 per book for thesis (a4) binding which includes blocking type on the spine. Getting Henry Flint, Dylan Teague and chris Weston to do convention sketches was the icing on the cake. Finding extras from the superb Hibernia doomlord book (my inspiration) and the Eagle flies again was also great fun.
:o
Increíble!
But wasn't Doomlord pants?

You're thinking of Sgt. Streetwise.
...or Manix
Right, who's going to do the 13th Floor? I'm particularly interested in the Jose Ortiz pages!
Just for you I've uploaded a video of the Complete Thirteenth Floor - 500 pages of Wagner Grant and Ortiz goodness. Use original link and look at other movies from Doom Lord

They're pretty much
all Jose Ortiz pages.
Yes all Ortiz in the weekly. Only the 3 holiday special/annual stories were by other artists. A truly amazing run
How about House of Daemon then. I used to love that. Hell, even my mum used to read that.
A Tower King, House of Daemon and The Fifth Horseman triple bill collected edition would make me a very happy man-child. I've re-read those a lot in the last couple of years but to have it in book form for toilet time reading would be brilliant. Survival too would be nice.
I've often wondered if we'll see a collected Dan Dare though seeing as the page layout would be difficult to print. It used to be front page then a double page spread, that's not going to work well... I'd still buy one even with some form of splash page filler in between episodes.

Here's House of Daemon and Tower King collected. I looked at fifth horseman but it wasn't good.
Fantastic!, I'm off to Amazon to order them now:).
I have resisted long enough, Utterly shamless pimping time!! Doomlord the Deathlords of Nox is still available to buy at the Comicsy shop here along with other goodies http://www.comicsy.co.uk/hibernia/
Sorry Robert :-[
Okay, who had 2 days 5 hours in the pool? Jammy git whoever it was, I was sure David'd crack within the first few hours...
Heh, I bet there were others thinking that too!
Rest assured its all for the good of the board, my new tome, the next Comic Archive will be out soon and all proceed will be going in that (printing) direction!
Wasn't Doomlord...a bit odd?
Yep, in the very best way!
The early stories are great, the latter stories tend towards the more superhero type, but still a good read.
Doomlord was brilliantly disturbing at times. Just buy the collection Maryanddavid has on offer and you'll see quite how superb and bonkers it is.

Precisely.
Looks like Robert's done all the hard work. I'd buy all of these if they were available.
