Post by: rogue69 on 15 July, 2013, 04:05:54 PM
Pat Mills ha informed me that he is trying to put his stories from Toxic! (apart from Marshal Law & Accident Man) up on Comixology for free. The first one has been submitted to them & is just waiting for them to ok it & put it up so it should be available in the next few days :P

It'll be fun seeing Mick McMahon's Mutomaniac, Will Simpson's Sex Warrior and John Hicklenton's Fear Teachers again, but it's a shame Accident Man's not included. Mills did an odd story about a serial killer/psychiatrist which had really terrible proto-Clint Langley airbrushed art, and I could live a long and happy life without ever reading Brats Bizarre again, but if it's free I'll give it a go.

Accident man is not being included as it's due to be released later this year through Titan books

That's a curious move - why free?

Interesting. I am assuming that as Pat is only talking about 'his' strips we will not see full issues of Toxic.

Any idea when these will hit Comixology? No sign of them yet.

Last time I spoke to Pat he told me that PsychoKiller is awaiting release with them, but every time he asks when it's due to be released they just tell him that it's lined up to be released in the next few weeks. So it's still in the hands of Comixology when they get round to releasing it & Pat is still getting on to them when he gets time
