Duncan Jones's science fiction passion project Mute will be made as a graphic novel through Dark Horse Comics.
The Moon director revealed on Twitter that he is collaborating with artist Glenn Fabry on the project, which will be based on a Blade Runner-esque script Jones has been working on for several years.
Mute follows a silent bartender searching for his missing girlfriend in a futuristic Berlin. Jones has struggled to finance the project due to its dark and visually ambitious nature. Glenn Fabry's incredible, but it's significant that the press release doesn't specify which decade I can expect to get my hands on Mute.

Well it looks like some finishing's all ready been done but don't let that stop you fathering 7 children in the interim.
I wouldn't have recognized it as Glenn Fabry if you hadn't told me, has he done much in this style before?
There's a bit less shading on the inks, leaving more to the colour. More Darrowesque.
Neverwhere's maybe the most similar thing he's done to this so far.
Glenn had a Nice bit of art from this with him at Derry, looked great.
I got the impression that it was out this autumn. The art looked incredible.

This was supposed to be set in the same continuity as Moon wasn't it. Seem to remember Sam Bell was going to be in it briefly.
How very beautiful ....he's not watching the clock, so many obviously do. What a spectacle....the longer tomorrow.
...and the man and the cow share this moment, both contained, isolated, farmed. XXXXXXXX , brilliant.
