Eh, stupid question I presume but what exactly should I put in a synopsis? Should it describe the whole plot of the story or be sort of a teaser ie. not give everything away? I'm willing to give this a shot but I want to make sure everything is right first...

A synopsis is a brief outline of the story and characters involved. Basically it's like telling someone about a half hour tv programme, without actually taking half a hour to do it.
Sh*t! I forgot to say something silly at the end of that post...ermm, willies!
Well it depends for it's for?!
Imagine you've just seen a great film and you're telling a mate about it...
Make it long enough to include all the salient details but not too long. And if it's for a submission you do tell the ending.
JK have you seen the submissions advise by andy diggle on this site...somewhere...it's pretty helpful stuff.
I thoroughly recommend it if you haven't, its addictive, & yet another shiney happy group hugtastic aspect of this site. If your very slow like me you might not understand it at first but...oh thats just me int it ?
nice one Mr Robin Sir.
