I'm putting together a book of complete Halo Jones - just a one off. I'm after 12 issues Quality comic book series that reprinted it - in any condition. I really just need scans of the front covers but would happily buy a set if anyone has them. Please help

I remember at the time Quality were offering a promo poster to promote the series using that payphone picture with the title Halo Jones, your destiny's calling. Didn't make sense then either.

Lux Roth Chop is also about a foot too tall and doing the Bane maneuver on Halo.

I often wondered if they had got Roxy from Skizz and Halo confused for that first cover.

Interesting bit about the Halo reprints, its the only place that Sooner or Later is reprinted recoloured.

Oh, Quality Comics, with their anything-but-quality covers. The second Nemesis run was particularly enlightening, with them banging on about Sam Keith. The first cover was OK, as were the next few, but he'd clearly gotten bored by issue 4. Other people eventually took over and it went entirely off the boil by the end of the run, with covers referring to things that had happened in previous issues. Edit: And those Cyber Crush covers (http://www.atomicavenue.com/atomic/titledetail.aspx?TitleID=2128). Oh my. "Look at the sort-of sexy cyborg ladies and buy this comic! What's inside? Um *mumble*Robo-Hunter and Ro-Busters*. BUT LOOK! BOOBIES!"

These had some great covers, but nothing to do with the insides.

The quality reprints were pure garbage, but the Fleetway/Quality books were pretty good.  They had better paper, and especially the coloring was way better.  The Eagles were of course the best U.S. reprint line.

MaryandDavid the Best of Milligan and Mccarthy is out in GOSH now and looks amazing. After the slight disappointment of the colour Nemesis book I was put off reprints but it looked great and I think I saw Sooner or Later in there...
