I didn't come across any comments on last week's cover(Dredd/Aliens-Greg Staples). This concerns me as it is possibly the best cover I have ever seen. A classic in the making.
Greg Staples' work has evolved spectacularly over the years, and this latest effort is truly a masterpiece.
It's interesting to see all his(or anyone else's) covers all lined up to see how styles change and skills improve over the years. See link below.

I liked the cover (and yer wallpaper), I thought the artist should have put the character first and avoided that chin (me and my chin problems). Dred has a wiggly big chin and is unshaven. It makes him look like a member of the special tramp division.
I'm getting a bit irritated by artists putting their version of Dredd before a great Dredd pic, it happens a lot. I'd rather they got it right before they started riffing off the basic concept.
It's drawn very well, but the background also does it no favours.
I think I gave it a high vote even still.

well if you'd been fighting aliens you'd not have time furra shave ! hopefully that fluff saved his manly chin from the alien drool.

Twas a great cover but Dredds chin seemed wrong. Looked like a mirror image of the Alien chin. Maybe the point?
The Alien carapice was far too slim too, ( think I'm being a bit fanboy there , belive this will be a cover when the USA version hits the stands.
I saw somewhere in internet land the DH issue#1 cover, and it is the same art as this one.
