On Thursday I'm travelling to London to launch my new iPad app for kids.
The Day a Comet Came to Tea is aimed at children up to 5 or 6 yrs and tells the story of a comet, a ravenously hungry one, that turns up for tea one afternoon. Written by Guy Lachlan and illustrated by yours truly.
We're delighted to be launching at
The Royal Institute because at heart we think it's never too early to begin to ponder the wonders of the Universe (and the science that follows!).
If there's time (and interest) I may do some signed sketches during the proceedings.

I see the faithful 2000AD method of 'take a popular story and give it a SF twist!' hasn't been lost on you gentlemen! ;)
Looks excellent, reckon my two would love it. And congrats on an RI launch, that's brilliant.

Cheers Tordelback!
I was delighted as I only saw the digital version for the forst time a few days ago, it really turned out lovely, the transition has been very well handled (I made a short print run on paper years ago)...the colours look great on the iPad too, the narration is just perfect. Of course I would say that!...anyway, if you like it...let me know...if you hate it - LET ME KNOW FASTER!
thanks

...I couldn't believe that either. I've been so busy all summer with Dredd:Gamebook 2 that all of this was a surprise, from the quality of the app and the Royal Institute launch ..I drew the story in 2007, so this was all quite out of the blue for me.
