Pretty much what it says on the tin to be honest....
Looking for a copy of Prog 1771 cover variant 1. If anyone has one they'd like to sell, please drop me a PM.
Cheers
Hmmm....feels like this may be like looking for the fabled Australian Buu Buu Gwai Gwai bird made famous in this clip:

Seriously, is there a reason why this is so hard to get hold of? I know prog 1208 got hit by a warehouse flood - did something similar happen here?
They are really hard to pick up... they regularly fetch £15 - £20 on eBay. In my experience cover variant 2 (the white one) fetches a little more than variant 1.
More learned people may no for sure but I speculate that they didn't double the size of the print run and the combination of it being the 35th anniversary issue and the double buying by completists has created a supply problem. Also, more recent issues tend to be hung onto because the owner is probably still a reader... the collections that come up on eBay are often childhood ones that've been in a spare room / loft for some time without being looked at...
Good luck with your quest!
That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the info. I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled.......
