Has anyone bought this yet? Hardback collections of all the comic strips produced over the years of Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Space 1999, etc. that appeared in Century 21, Look-In et al. At 1.99 for the first issue which has three Thunderbirds stories illustrated by the great Frank Bellamy, it's worth a punt! Personally, I can't wait for the John Burns and Martin Asbury illustrated stories of Space 1999 from Look-In from the 70's

Looks a pretty package. Not sure I'll be subscribing though even if you do get die-cast models for doing so!
That looks like to will cost fortune by the end of it, if it ever gets there
I used to love the Thunderbirds comics when I was younger, sold a near complete set of the comics on fleabay a few years back. I tried to read through em, there's some bloody lovely painted art and those ship breakdowns are great but I've long lost any real interest in Thunderbirds.
Wasn't expecting this as the next partworks! These are lovely books and sexy spines - I dunno if I'm unlucky or lucky (for sakes of my bank) that they haven't launched something that doesn't appeal to me.
those spines should really be on the Spines thread :D
this might be cheaper:
I'm looking forward to the part work collecting Look-In's Space 1999 strip and the UFO stories from Countdown :)
I remembering having a few Century 21 annuals when I was a kid. They had these really detailed cut-away diagrams of vehicles and weapons just like 2000ad and Tornado use to have in the old days. The one I can recall clearly was a stealth scooter used by SPECTRUM. Fitted with a silent engine, it was apparently perfect for reconnaissance and secret border crossings, even though the agent would a complete tit riding one!

God, I'd love some of those in the prog. There never was a Manta cut-away, was there?
