Title: Al Ewing's Loki Agent of Asgard
Post by: Colin YNWA on 11 October, 2013, 10:11:22 PM
There was enough about Mr Ewing's Avengers title to put me off buying it, but this one could be interesting enough to pull me in?

New Al book announced from Marvel... Mind if they'd just chuffin' leave him alone so we could have him all to ourselves!

Yeah, I don't want to see Ewing, Morrison or any of the other 2000AD creators working for american companies.

The cheeky Cliff Robinson cover is quite a coup & a half isn't it? Love to know how he managed to slip that past Marvel editorial.

Yeah I was really impressed with the subtle way he slipped in the odd Tooth reference here and there.

Or to put it another way,  that'll learn me to try to copy and paste on that dagnabbit tablet thingie. I'm on my mobile now too, so I'll not even try to correct it now. Promise though there is an article about it over at The Beat and CBR. Can't chuffin' wait to get my laptop back from the fixit shop. Damned new fangled technology is confusin' me noggin.

it'd be nice to see Ewing spread some toothiness over there.  I wonder if he'll change his style at all?

Quote

We kill Thor. He's dead on page one. Dead is dead, and he's dead forever. Pushing up daisies. Joined the choir invisible. He's deady dead dead. We've got a whole bag of dead with his name on it. D-E-A-D spells dead. Jason Aaron's writing the decomposition. He's worm food. Killed off. He's a Thorpse. He's dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead DEAD.

Trust me.

...

It's low-down, two-faced, a big jerk of a comic that openly and constantly lies to its readership. Seriously, we're going to lie to you. All the time. It's this comic's nature.

Also, we're killing Thor off.

SOLD! & how often does Lee Garbett draw a book that a boy wants to read these day?
