Over the last few hours it seems that a certain Duncan Jones has been tweeting constantly about having 2000 AD IP stuff made.
You can see all his tweets on his feed Duncan Jones (https://twitter.com/ManMadeMoon)
If he'd taken DREDD when offered it, his 'rising-star' might have attracted a few more sheckles to the box-office.
Bastard!
He can make up for it by adapting something awesome!

He's busy adapting World of Warcraft and Ian Flemming.
Would love to see his take on a Rogue Trooper movie!
Jones wanted to do the camera crew following Dredd around, yeah? Loved that idea.

Dredd as found-footage much like
End of Watch which was released the same week.
Oh man. That would've been great.
He strikes me as the right man to tackle the Ballad of Halo Jones.
I saw he felt the dominance of Marvel comics related Movies at the box office was too much and he seems to suggest the 2000AD portfolio of creations is capable of countering this. Great to know he's still got an interest in 2000AD despite the various projects he's working on. This has to be some good news surely?
I stumbled across his stuff being retweeted like crazy the other day. I didn't really understand, not knowing who he was. How could I not?! I'm really looking forward to the Warcraft movie!

Have you not seen Moon? If you haven't, do, although avoid reading anything about it before doing so.

Is that the guy who did Moon?!? I bloody love that film! Rockwell is an understated genius. It made a nice change from his previous madcap roles.
Well, there you go - learn something new every day!
Jones also Directed (but did not write) Source Code. Which wasn't quite as good as Moon, but was still pretty solid.
