Can anyone recall a late eighties, early nineties comic anthology released in the UK. I can recall that there was some amazing painted art for an old school fantasy epic type story in it.
I am not sure if this was a Marvel UK anthology or something else. This may also have contained Genghis Grimtoad, but again that may have been another anthology. I am positive it was not Toxic or Scream, so what else was there around that time.
I am desperate to trace this painted story that I mention above but cannot recall for the life of me what it was???
Wasn't that Strip magazine? There's a whole thread about a Grimtoad on here if you search back earlier in the year
Yeah it was Strip. Discussed in these parts recently... just had a nosey but couldn't find the thread. Hopefully this will help. I suspect the story might be Storm or Thorgal. If its Thorgal head over to the Cinebooks site and see how much luck you are in!

Daveycandlish Colin-YNWA, you are both legends, Strip was the magazine, and Storm was the story. Glancing at some of those covers it appears that Don Lawrence was the artist in question. I recall it all now, but I think I was confused as it appears that Marshall Law was in this as well as Toxic.
