Woo hoo! Strontium just got a mention on Horizon. Apparently the sovs have tons of the stuff, just lying around.
There's also a layer of strontium all over the bottom of the river running through Manhattan. It's found in gypsum based building materials, so a whole load of found it's way into the air when the WTC was destroyed. But in this case I'm pretty sure it ain't strontium 90.
ach so only londoners will get it? ach weil thats okay then, I'll stick with the northern mutagens
Hmm... got any rusty old nuclear reactors nearby?
nah thats up at the top, but hang on ..what was that that my fire colluege who works for MOD was drunkenly bragging about, what was it they lost in the sea, ...again? must learn about military hardwear so i can be even more horrified by his breaking the secrets act stories...
Well a few miles north of me, the RAF managed to drop a nuke a few years back whilst trying to load it on to a bomber... Good job they make them tough.
If it means I end up seeing through walls BRING IT ON!!!
ADE
Y'know, the way i see it, if you live or work in london and terrorists do explode a radiological device in Trafalga Square, all you really have to do is give up smoking and the two risks will balance themeselves out.
Baggsy me get a cool mutation - Alpha's eyes or psychic powers. No animal hybrids or funny coloured skin/ fur/ scales, ta very much
Knowing my luck, my mutation would be a big warty nose & the onipotent powers one would go to the old lady next door.
Wasn't Strontian 90 named after the place of that name in Ardamurchan? or did i just dream that one?
Auntie M.
alpha alpha alpha
Sorry, Alphamurchan, Middenpus
Is there any chance someone can produce a map like this but identifying the best locations for particular types of mutations, Zone 4=Toast, Zone 3=Toast or seathrough skin, Zone 2=Weird Strontium extra limbs or, if you're lucky the odd superpower, Zone 1=good chance of being bitten by radioactive leapord (if there's a zoo nearby).
