thats ok,
but dont you get at least a smile when you remeber when thats just the sort of thing  you wanted to be able to do?
for me its sci fi stuff like blakes 7 and dr who.

if it doesnt maybe you grew up a bit too much.

Maybe you should take some time out and find your inner child. Trust me, being childish every now and then is the best therapy you can find.

Speaking from experience,

Ha it's better this time around!

I'm getting so much more out of it than when I was a kid

Too right! And there's a level of enjoyment that goes beyond mere nostalgia, tackiness or slapstick and the like. Just the sheer energy of it leaves you thinking at the end "Blimey, that was never an hour, was it?"

being childish as an adult is ten times more fun that when a child, cos its on your own terms & no-one will shout at you.... well except my kids who say ' oy mum gettoffa that cloud !, youre embarassing us '.

but do you have to revisit your actuall childhood to be childish or reach the inner child ? can we not delight in the world around us today, as it is?

Becoming a regular habit this- rolling in drunk as a lord at odd hours of the morning tacking comments on to the end of other boarder's  threads but as an additional support worker for a local FE college I relish any opportunity that presents itself  to act up in a juvenile manner- I get to relive a little of my fast disappearing youth and the students enjoy a laugh at my expense.

There's all this innuendo in it. Somehow, i never noticed that when I was seven.
