Hi All
There is a Cornwall Comic Con taking place on Saturday 15th February 2014. Calling itself a Sci-Fi Convention and Toyfair it will be held in the market town of St Austell - 4 minute walk from train station. Starting at 10:30 - £2.50 entrance fee. Situated in White River Place (Shopping Centre) , St Austell next to TKMaxx.
Organised by Final Frontier publicity reads: Signings - Dressed Characters - Traders - Comic Artist Alley - Toyfair Traders selling Diecast Dinky, Corgi, Hornby, Lima, Star Wars, Film memorabilia and so much more
I sadly won't be able to attend as I shall be manning (or womanning ?) my shop but hubby will be having a stand for our bronze / silver comics as well as some (as I shall have the rest) of our 400 x 2000AD progs!
Not sure if there are any tables left but contact Julian and Lea at Final Frontier on thiznthatz@hotmail.co.uk or 01752 226660 for more information
Cheers
Wendy

We have them individually bagged and boarded, am taking some photos of them which I shall post shortly. We only ever grade as high as VF+ so in Dave's absence as he is at his day job I would be grading these as VF but to be honest these are excellent. Just checked on ebay and ebay prices really don't make sense, we go by book prices (www.comicbookguide.co.uk) and we will not be charging £9.99 per copy instead 1 (no sticker), 2 and 3 are £3 and 4 - 22 are £2 each.
Yes we would post, postage determined by quantity (just discovered to my sad face that posting out a 2000 AD a smidge over large letter so had to go at Small Packet :D @ post office. so need to suss out if the Starlords would go for large letter/small packet. With the Starlords and the 2000 AD sales we won't be charging buyers for packaging costs just the postage costs- again we are in this business to enjoy comics not to fleece people. So looking at Small Packet depending on first, second class or signed for etc...postage ranging £2.60 - £7.95 !!! (Special delivery with compensation for loss or damage £6.22 - £6.95 - need to weigh these suckers!)

(can't seem to attach - so will load a couple to facebook page (maybe its still my settings as a newbie?) Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Into-the-Realm/230612850399806?fref=ts

Wendy, that sounds great. Give me a figure for all 22 inc postage to Northern Ireland. I can confirm I will purchase all of them as one lot. What methods of payment are preferae? Laurence
Hi Laurence
I realise I cannot PM you :-(. If you can drop me a line at intotherealm@aol.com then I can detail further but suffice to say, just got back from a trip to the Post Office and they weighed in at 2214g so thats £12.92 Parcel Force (rounded up to £13). So that would be £60 the lot :-)

Looks kinda wet and windy down there Wendy, hope all yer comics are bagged! :D
It is blowing a hoolie and yes, all our comics are bagged, actually so are our books and magazines in their protective little 'condoms'......not looking forward to the journey home neither....
did you need your waterwings?
Thankfully family and friends are ok but OMG poor Dawlish and that train line (what train line!).... trains are running from Plymouth to Penzance so Plymouthians can still make the trek to the Convention on Saturday 15 February. Those the other side of Dawlish will need to bus it to the next station running trains or use other forms of transportation... dirigibles, tandems, motor vehicles, horse and cart....
Website is in development :-) www.intotherealm.co.uk

Hi ZenArcade
Delighted you like them; pleased they got to you weathering the storms of the UK (well done Royal Mail). I thought they looked pretty good myself :-). Thank-you for buying them and enjoy them.
We still have early editions of 2000 AD between Prog 10 and Prog 179 including the burger/corn affair ones; moonraker; and first judge death....if any one on the forum is interested drop me a line on here.
All excited about our first convention tomorrow in sunny Cornwall :-)
Regards
Wendy
