Haha thanks guys I literally went from watching the movie to reading like 4000 issues in the past 2 months so when I heard Karl was coming I dropped everything (including finishIng painting my wedding invitations :lol: ) and came up with the idea to do the poster/ask for a reading. A bunch of 10 yr old girls jumped in line to ask Karl for hugs, I thought I was gonna strangle em haha if I didn't get my chance.
What's also awesome is Karl came out with a row of cosplay judges, and gruffly told them they 'were a pass'. He's a good sport.

What we need now is a list of Dredd bits we want Karl to read, a roster of who has to get what and a list of Karl's future appearances. We'll have the audio Case Files done in no time.

I've bought quite a few issues myself, read some online. My fiance's cousin apparently bids on storage in Cincinnati Ohio (like in Storage Wars) and one storage unit had boxes and boxes and boxes of old 2000AD issues! Pretty excited to see what's in there.
I've asked Adi Shankar to take a look at the Dredd America reading, he's expressed interest in making a Dredd one-shot in the past (he worked on the movie and also has made a TON of good Marvel shorts).
Karl is doing a TON of cons in the US, people could definitely arrange for some more readings :)

All sorts of cool in this thread the reading is great and the LoTR/ Dredd mash up helmet very nice. Aside from a 'minor' detail the America poster re-done is noice.
