For a few years now, Mabs of this parish has been contacting 2000AD artists and getting them to fill his sketch books with all manner of goodies! He's got some amazing pieces and has started a superb blog to show them off, check it out here: http://thecursedearth.blogspot.co.uk (http://thecursedearth.blogspot.co.uk)

Nice blogjob Mabs :D
Great bloggage, Mabs. Great to see all the stuff there, but I really love the Phillip Bond pics. Such a lovely style. ;)
OH BALLS! Pete, I hate to break it to you buddy, but THAT IS NOT MY BLOG!
I'm afraid you got me muddled up with another poster! :'(
You probably clicked on another boarder's blog thinking it was me? Maybe. But apologies guys...
Great blog though.
Don't these belong to Wiggz from Rebellion?

That's the name at the bottom of the blog, so it could be....
They are all just beautiful though , and that Inaba one is well... :o
Amazing. Things like this take a LONG time to come together, but are more than worth the wait. Some incredible pieces on display there. Thanks for the (dis)information, Pete!

I did think "when did Mabs start calling himself Wiggz" - AWKWARD.

It's not all Pete's fault though. He asked me beforehand if I'd like him to open a thread for my blog. He mentioned the sketches and I assumed he was referring to
my sketches /doodles which I have on my blog. And of course, I said yes.
But on the brighter side of things, at least Wiggz is getting extra hits on his blog! :)
I think you'll find (and this may come as a surprise to Wiggz and Mabs) that they are, in fact, the SAME PERSON. I mean yes, they inhabit different bodies, live in different places and have dfferent blogs, but, y'know, in the great scheme of things, we're all the same aren't we?
Quick! Look over there, a herring!

Grud, that's simply stunning.

Thanx for all your kind comments - very much appreciated.
A huge thanx to all the creators, 2000AD staff droids and people here that have helped me out.
I know quite a few of you hang out here and may be reading this so a big thanx to all of you.
I wouldn't have been be able to do this without your help.
As this has made the forums - I thought I'd post a few extra ones up this weekend.
Enjoy...

That Redondo piece is incredible.
Beat me to it.
Those books must be things of beauty to behold.
So fancy teasing anything you are waiting on?
I know he's got more Redondo stuff :)
Thanx for your comments...
lots more Carlos, Burns, Redondo, Yeowell, Wilson, Staples, MacNeil, Clarke, Elson, Fraser, Harrison, Tiernen, Willsher and others to come throughout the year and a few things planned for the future that should be cool should they come off...

Wowzers, those are great!
Dylan Teague draws a great Anderson. We need more Teague in the prog.
