Mick, I'd love to, but I don't have a facebook account and have no intention of getting one.
I'm with Bolt-01 block.
haha can I enter even if I live like, a million miles away? :'(
Edit: just saw that it's possible! :)
Facebook is incredibly useful, and you can limit what is shared. I really don't understand why people don't want an account.
I have one and I understand why people don't want one...
Facebook sucks your life (and evenings) away. On the plus side I do get to see lots of cat pictures. But I feel we are getting off topic here...
Thanks John Burdis for posting the info....
Unfortunatly you can't post pics on here otherwise I would of hence using fbook.
And who doesn't love a good Kitten Pic! :D
I've been advised today that the Planet Replica Dredd badge is one of only 3 made for SDCC in 2013 Planet Replicas & Rebellion hold the other 2!!! Don't miss out ;)
It's gotta be said, those are bloody good prizes! I have to get my own LEE FIELDS, whatever that is!
Apologies Albion, just realised your the person I need to thank for posting the info.
Cheers ;)
Sorry for being a big dummy, but I don't want to make a mistake when buying tickets.
You say to "pay any fees". Fair enough.
But what is the total I have to send per ticket? What are the fees? I've never used PayPal to send cash, so sorry for being daft. I'm asking here on the assumption others are in the same boat.
I think PayPal tells you the fee when you send any money, which is based on the amount you're sending. It asks if you want to pay the fees at additional cost, or if you want to deduct them from the amount being sent to the recipient. So, you would do the former.
Ah. OK. Thanks.
Dr X you can email me direct at dredd3dbrum@yahoo.com if you want!
Just added a Henry Flint Autographed copy of Underbelly to the haul of prizes
If you're raising funds for a children's hospital I'd be more than happy to offer an original pencil drawing of the Judge from my work on 'Judge Dredd:The Dark'. The game book is due this summer or autumn...depending.
And good on ye!
I just had a thought. I'll still contribute a drawing of Dredd from my Gamebook work.
But in addition the highest bidder at your auction wins a place as one of my perps? I have yet to draw various male and female perps.
The winner would send me a portrait photo taken during the auction and I would use it as the basis for the perp - and then, a few days later, send the winner the original pencil drawing.
Sound good?

If you wanna drop me an email at dredd3dbrum@yahoo.com we can sort details out.
Anyone looking for Raffle tickets can also contact me at that email address too.
Cheers
Mick
mick3666 asked me to post this here.
I'm making 2 pictures for the raffle. This is the first one, I drew it today and will mail it to Mick tomorrow. It is Indian Ink on fine quality watercolour paper - and it's quite large - 'Super A3' (Which means A3 with border room...for trimming by printers).
The picture is signed 'Bubba Z 2014' and has a bit of info written on the back.
I made it as a prelim for the new Gamebook I'm illustrating for Tinman Games - 'Judge Dredd: The Dark'.
So it will likely appear in the Gamebook.
So if you like it, get a raffle ticket, it could be yours.

Auction, Now you're talking.
I can't speak for Mick, but I guess the intention is to make it as fair as possible so it's not just limited to the wealthy collectors.
Ah, fair enough.
I did think about an auction but I'd like to keep it open to all pocket depths. :D
The generosity of people has been amazing though & it's turning into a Mega Raffle!

12 days to go!!
So, preferring the ink quality in some areas over the digital version of my cover design, I'm importing the ink drawing above into the cover art and not just as a plan...so, for what it's worth, the winner of it, now wins actual cover art...in a sense.
That's pretty cool Bubba!

Raffle Prize winners
Apologies for the slight delay in posting this, it was a combination of leaving stuff at The Electric & having to work for a living...
Ladies & Gents I have spoken with Philip Pang who won the Bubba Zebill art on the night of the Dredd Screening.
Philip came along to support the event as a friend & obviously was happy to Support the Acorns Raffle but he wasn't expecting to win anything.
He feels the artwork would be better suited going to a true Dredd fan who could frame & enjoy it.
He has asked me to Re-Raffle the item with profits going to Acorns Children's Hospice yet again.
I have decided to do this as a LIMITED TICKET RAFFLE.
There will be ONLY 40 tickets available with a maximum of 1 ticket per person priced at £5 each.
Philip will do the draw & it will be done once all tickets are sold or on April 30th (whichever comes 1st).
As before it's open to all but you will be responsible for P&P.
Please PM me for payment details.
In Bubba's words

...I'll then send him the first sketch, call it a 'momento mutie'.
