Got the Backlash and Tour of Duty Books yesterday at LFSS yesterday, these are build up to the Apocalypse War. Question, what Case files books or Novel cover the entire Apocalypse War ?

In answer to your question, Case Files 5 covers the Apocalypse War. The main build up to the war is Pirates of the Black Atlantic and Block Mania.

For follow ups to The Apocalypse War and precursors to Day of Chaos I would add to your reading list the first Judge Anderson Psi Files for Hour of the Wolf (Rebellion), The Doomsday Scenario books (Doomsday For Dredd and Doomsday For Mega-City 1) (both published by Hamlyn) and Satan's Island (Rebellion). You should also track down the two Day of Chaos volumes The Fourth Faction and Endgame as it starts with a resolution of sorts for Tour of Duty's disgraced Chief Judge Sinfield.

Your confusion probably comes from the fact that the recent Day of Chaos storyline (which continues on from Tour of Duty) saw MC1 devastated by rogue sov agents in revenge for Dredd's actions during the Apocalypse war, which as judgerufian points out, took place a couple of decades earlier.
Dredd advances in 'realtime', so 37 years have elapsed in the story since his first introduction in 1977, so you can see whereabouts in continuity a story lies by checking the original publication date and adding 121 years.

You have to add 122 years.
After Backlash and Tour of Duty you want to read Day of Chaos: The Fourth Faction and Day of Chaos: Endgame, in that order.
The Apocalypse War is set 30 years earlier and is in The Complete Case Files 5, but you don't need to have read it before you read Day of Chaos.

Wash your mouth out. :D My copy of CF22 arrived in the post this morning. I'm still in shock that something so awful and gleefully sadistic was ever allowed to go to print. :( Austin's art is nice though. But then again so was Carlos Ezquerra's for Frankenstein Division.
