being incredibly new to this stuff I noticed 2000ad stuff only appears to be on I-pad ??? (forgive me if this has been discussed beofore but I cant be arsed trailing through ...will books etc be available on android? I wanted to get underbelly at some point.. I have comixology on my tablet/phone and am having a headache catching up with the rest of the 21st century.
I don't have a tablet, but looking at the page for Underbelly digital (http://shop.2000adonline.com/products/digital_dredd_underbelly) on the shop it says the format is CBZ/PDF which should be readable on anything...
If that's not what you see when accessing the shop from a tablet, could you not download it on a PC and transfer...?
Cheers
Jim
Yep - I have "Underbelly" on my Samsung galaxy tab. Bought it and downloaded it in cbz format and then used Comicrack to read it. Lovely. (Especially the double page layout)
The amount of times this query comes up: I don't know if people aren't looking hard enough or whether the message that "it's all available on Android (except subscriptions delivered straight to an app)" is not getting through.
There have been a couple of decent threads on this recently which should cover everything you need to know. Here's one (http://forums.2000adonline.com/index.php/topic,39997.0/topicseen.html). Maybe it would be an idea to make one of these (or a short checklist) sticky for a while?
Basically: there is a distinction to be made between branded apps, comixology and the actual process of reading comics on a tablet; 2000AD stuff isn't on Comixology but you can buy it from various other places and read it via a selection of separate apps.
thanking you all, just couldn't be bothered trawling ;)
