THIRD PLACE - SKD
(presented here is the finished inked version - not the entry pencils)

SECOND PLACE - ARCHIE

FIRST PLACE - JAMES NEWELL

Despite being the busiest month we've had for SOME TIME James Newell was the runaway winner with more than triple the number of points of the two entries behind him! Remember you can find out about those behind the pictures and more over on the comp Facebook page --> https://www.facebook.com/2000adartcomp
THARG'S CHOICE goes to
Gary O'Donnell's shocking Dredd reveal:

Our
DROID'S CHOICE this month is from the particularly productive and practically perfect
P.J. Holden!
Quote"I vote Archie -" what if Owen Chrysler became Chief Judge". The Judge Child Saga and City of the Damned, were some of my favourite Dredds, so anything that could suggest there's more mileage to be had from the spoilt mega mutant is all to the good. (It's also a damn fine drawing.)"
Cheers everyone for taking part and/or voting :D June's theme will be up before the day is out!
Can there be a special prize for an entry that didn't get a single vote? Not a single frigging vote, not even an honourary mention, even when people were doing five or six HMs! Surely that's a first?
I'm assuming it's 'cos I spelled Nikolai wrong and not 'cos I'm shit at art. Bastards. Sob!
Well done to the winners, but it's the taking part that counts!
Shit! I forgot to vote! Ah well, well done all entries and I look forward to the next comp.

Could call it the 'Nil Tro Thargo'.
Another excellent competition, well done to all of the entrants (there you go Judda), the standard as ever is simply stunning.
Many thanks to CFM for his unstinting efforts in organising this excellent thread. I can't wait to see what he has lined up for us this month! :D
The standard of artists was fantastic. I really enjoyed entering this month for the first time. Thank you for such an excellent competition. There are some remarkably talented lads ( and possibly some lassies out there...its hard to tell going by forum names) out there. Roll on the June comp. The bar has been set. :D
Well done to all entrants and a worthy winner :)

Congrats to the winners and congrats to everyone who entered the comp. You have all put in the effort so you are all winners in my book. :D
Congrats to the James and the other podium dwellers. I really like the variety of strokes in the updated inks in SKD's entry. Looking forward to next month so batch of awesomeness.
