Title: Why is this so rare?
Post by: opaque on 08 February, 2003, 07:48:01 PM
Anyone got an idea? Says 'Notoriously hard to find as many were destroyed and the rest badly distributed'
But why? I don't remember any problem even though it was a couple of years ago.

Basically that's it, there was a cock up on distribution, some people got them fine, others didn't.  I wasn't about then and may end up not getting one, certainly not ?15 for part of a Wagner story (sorry sir) which was admittedly fun and some er... lesser strips.

I don't know really how rare it is, probably not worth panicking over.

"Basically that's it, there was a cock up on distribution"

Andy Diggle didn't solicit Tooth to Diamond for that month in particular.

This is the issue in which Judge Dredd's face was finally revealed, the complete plot synopsis for the entire ten volume plot of Halo Jones was explained and DR & Quinch appeared in the previously thought lost and in hindsight prophetic classic "DR & Quinch go to America where the pay is better"
Title: Belardinelli art for sale - cheap
Post by: Mangamax on 09 February, 2003, 01:26:35 AM
If anyone's interested, there's a page of Beladinelli's Slaine art for sale at Comic Showcase in Oxford Street.
It's going for ?30 which i don't think is bad considering its age and that there's plenty of Slaine plus Niamh too.
