Title: Typography 'As Above' Symbol
Post by: Banners on 20 March, 2015, 11:37:46 AM
When you write something in a table (for example) and you want to in effect quicky repeat what's above, you would put two short vertical lines somewhere above the baseline.

In order to replicate this in a print design, would I use a a double prime [ ″ ] or quotation mark [ " ] — or is there some dedicated typographical symbol?

Cheers!

Double prime (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ditto_mark) in Unicode.
