Anybody know what this is? Is it just a blue variant of the upcoming Mezco Dredd - or something a bit more interesting..?

Weird isn't it! I saw that earlier and wondered what on earth they were getting at, as it tells you nothing really.
I can only hope it's the fucked-up, I've-been-through-hell-and-look-like-it version of Dredd from prog 85... complete with war robot still attached to his leg...
Well, I can dream, can't I John?
We can indeed. Now why didn't they include an actual photo of the bloody figure, so we'd at least be able to relax!
You can re-enact these covers...

Not quite...a little dirtier with a few other cosmetic differences.
Cosmetic differences...?
Doesn't a legless war robot count as a cosmetic difference..?
;)

Not this time around.

You shouldn't give alcohol to robots.
If this is the Previews Exclusive then I'm pretty confident in my theory that the blue uniform will be paired with the Lawmaster.
Yeah, I'd like to know more about this. Do we have to order from Big Bad Toy Store or will we be able to get it elsewhere?

If it's a Previews exclusive then you can order it from Previews catalog or other places such as Amazon.com and Entertainment earth.
UPDATE. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=OOC10003&mode=retail looks like the PX exclusive has the traditional Lawgiver MK II with it. And has the blue uniform.
I like it

I definitely like the Blue Uniform and the Traditional Lawgiver MK II. I'll be preordering a half dozen of these asap!
I really like that.
Yep, that's nicely done.
That's really nice, but it's not based on his appearance in the Cursed Earth story as advertised is it? It's what Dredd wears to go into the Cursed Earth nowadays.
Well, it does say possibly.
I imagine it's so there's a tenuous link to the latest mega-collection.
Are these fully posable things (like threeA) or statues (like Planet Replicas)?
Got to say that duster coat is fantastic looking. Much better than the first wave of these. Dirty and gritty and hides the (ugh) eagle.

It does look very nice, and great to see this stuff popping up, but kinda not what I was thinking/hoping it would be..

Can you explain? Is it the scale? The interpretation?

I thought it looked more like the (shudder) Stallone film Judge. The one stood on the MC1 wall near the start of the film.
Who here won't buy the figure simply be ause they don't like the shoulder eagle?
Lair of the Octopus finally has the Cursed Earth variant which negates the whopping shipping fee of the BigBagToyStore.
You can get it here for £68 all in.

Well done Mr Wells
I guess we're all waiting to hear about the Lawmaster now... and who'll get there first, Mezco or 3A!
Mezco are pretty much there and it's gawjuss!

With ThreeA's frankly ridiculous business model, I'll eat my trousers if we ever see a Lawmaster from them...

I'm praying the Lawmaster comes by itself. I can't afford to spend $150 + like with that DKR batman vs mutant leader exclusive.
The thing is, now I've ordered the normal Dredd (well, two of 'em actually) and the lovely Cursed Earth version, I'm going to need at least two Lawmasters!
I saw an interview with a Mezco guy who said the Lawmaster would have working lights and computer screen and such. I can't wait!!!

Well, then prepare to get 2 more dredd's, because I have a bad feeling the Lawmaster will be packed with a variant dredd figure. (Ow, my wallet)

Aaarrrggghhhh damn you Mezco. Damn you to hell, how the hell am I going to keep that little purchase quiet from the wife..?
Er, take the batteries out?
Is he married to a femme-bot?
Boom-tsh!
Had an email that says the store will have them in 10 days and they'll be shipped out soon after, which is nice!

Well, they have that one aswell but I cancelled it. Hesitating if I should go for it or not. The B&W is a must but I belive the disco dredd will be there for a while!
ye gods I could spend a fortune there. Fabulous Dredd one sixth figurine and those Batman Animated Series stuff, very impressive.
