Which (if any) 2000ad (or other) comic titles would you like to see on the big screen? (or on the telly/netflix/whatever)
Ever since I read it, I have always thought that Shako would make a great movie. Real actors (not those made up ones) along with a CGI bear. Blood and snow work oh so well together.
So yeah, what would you like to see done? And any particular story line?
I was going to say Barbarella.....
But would love to see something done with Nemesis.
This thread simply has to get the award for the most dangerously titled thread of the year to date.
A photo-realistic ABC Warriors would be amazing, as would an animated Nemesis.
I'd like to see how American Reaper would pan out on screen, as it was clearly written with this in mind.
Strontium Dog is ready to go, what with the original treatment and Carlos' work for the abandoned TV project (and of course the amazing fan-film in the works!)
A Slaine trilogy (Warrior's Dawn - Slaine The King - The Horned God), a TV series adaptation of Charley's War, Button Man (finger's crossed), more Dredd...
Pretty much anything by Pat Mills or John Wagner really!

If you look in the mirror and say the thread title five times, Thryllseeker appears behind you.. ;)
Armoured Gideon.
I'd like to see a decent version of The Punisher (though the Thomas Jane version was pretty good). I'm hoping he works well in the Daredevil show.
I still don't think they've got Batman right. Something akin to the Grant/Breyfogle version would be great (I think Anarky or Scarface would work really well on film).
Well, Judge Dredd obviously. More Dredd in the public eye can only be a good thing, and the series has a presidence of strong mix between heartfelt one shots and epic storybarcs which are ripe for addaptation to the small screen.
An Invincible movie would be neat as well, you would have though with Kirkmans success with The Walking Dead, slapping "From the creater of" on a poster would sell it to a much wider audience. Make the first movie Marks origin story and finish it off with the "death" of Angstrom Levy, then make the sequel The Invincible War.....then spin it off into a set of Savage Dragon, Firebreather, and Jack Staff netflix series.
Another vote for American Reaper. I'm not a massive fan of the later Sin/Dex stories but I feel it has potential as a tv show. Future Shocks/Terror Tales/Vector 13 would be ideal for an on going series. Big Dave, just for a laugh.
Non 2000AD - animated Transformers movies using the marvel UK storylines.
Cheers

How can you improve on perfection? (I love that film!)
I'd love to see a Robusters film - Rise and Fall of Ro-Jaws and Hammer-Stein would provide a great narrative arc for the second half, after a first half made up of disasters and brief flashbacks of the "memoirs" stories.

Yeah but who will watch the film opening with two robots and one is annoying...oh wait
Salma Hayek with the snake in Dusk till Dawn...
I would love to see a Y the Last Man tv show.
or a Film Noir Robohunter

The original Verdus story would make a wonderful animated film or tv show. I think that was going to happen once, wasn't it?
I think Kingdom is incredibly cinematic but I also think it would make a great video game.

I think that might just have been me banging on and on about how this is the best idea ever...
Cheers!

After Dredd, I'd go with ABC-Warriors and Absalom.
