Here I am.. and now that my cable television and internet and phone ae connected. I can safely say I have finally moved house and living on my own now.
Of course, my dad arrived at around about mid-morning yesterday to assist with the technical stuff and also reminded me why I had been so anxious to do the move. Yet, I won't elaborate. on that.
Much happier now... for the time being!
Good for you, Mayor! Just remember to get out as much as you feel you can. It might feel liberating to be one step closer to self sufficiancy but it's all too easy to become a shut in! Even just a daily walk can be enough.

I myself am moving in just over a week. And I'm dreading it. I've accumulated so much junk in the last 28 years and I'm moving to a one bedroom apartment far far away. Which means I'm taking about 1% of my possessions with me. I. Am. Terrified.

The satellite dish was put on the roof yesterday (early to mid morning!)...so my cable television was connected and I have been watching all last afternoon into the evening. Then I purchased the first episode of Bitten (You will find a earlier post of mine on the (Last television show watched... thread, I think....)
I kind watched it thinking to myself how much I they used werewolf theme to make show almost as awful as that Teen-Wolf series on Fox. They might as well make teen soap opera without any thing supernatural in it at all.
I then left as it was while becoming more engrossed with stuff on the computer., here and when my attention was returned to the television. I found that it had switched back to regular television where neither of the controllers are being responded to.
I tried a few things, but nothing works and I have no way of switching off the television without using the power switch at the wall.
I doing that right now and just getting some much needed sleep.
