The alien from Quaxxann, he says yes
Ah yes, tis the season when we all get to wax nostalgic about reading the summer special in a caravan in Fife or a holiday camp in Abersoch *sigh*
Can't wait, one of the highlights of the year.Z
A caravan in the rain up at Findhorn Bay 1978 or 79 :)
Yay to the free poster, yay to Rogue Trooper, but ... 32 pages? That's not so special, Tharg!
HAPPY HOLIDAY CREEPS!

Considering the dicking around over FCBD that 2000AD had to navigate, we should be thankful that we got both.
As I understand it, when the FCBD prog was shelved, the material was going to be rolled into the summer special, but then it was back on.
So it's possible that the special is 32 pages because of that.

Ah yes, the FCBD prog which was never sent to my local comic shop and which was swiftly stuck on ebay by, apparently, every other shop....mumble....grumble.....
Some great talent lined up for this, I'm genuinely delighted that Tharg has reactivated the Dobbyn Droid.
I presume we'll be able to pick this up in the shops and not just through the webstore? I couldn't see anything in the press release that said it would be though.

Yep, as always, our titles will be available in shops. If it was web-shop exclusive or restricted release we'd tell you.
Thanks for the confirmation, Molch-R. I was starting to get Collector's Twitch for a moment.

I believe so. The conversation was fairly short, though:
Me:"Do you have the 2000AD special?"
Them:"No. It doesn't seem to be in there."
We're just trolling Jim now...
'I' think I see it too.
It's because of the missed pun about Dredd's bucket list/the bucket lost, isn't it?

Seriously. I'd do this shit for free...!

Stupidest question of the day: when is this in the shops?Z
Much to my surprise my LCS has it on their list for next week! Fingers crossed they have a spare to put aside for me.
The 2000 AD Summer Special 2016 is out in print and digital on 20th July and is the only antidote to the British summer!!
Great line-up, looking forward to this. Especially the Weston poster, nice.
The line up looks super fun. Roll on next week!! Z
Mine arrived from Tharg's Future Shop today and, on initial inspection, jolly nice it is too!
Great payoff to the Dredd strip! :)
My my, that does indeed look very tasty, can't wait to read it!
That looks much better, Jim.
Especially having the tail of the speech bubble off Dredd.
