Title: ten ten never again
Post by: Matt on 16 January, 2002, 12:02:40 AM
I've got to admit, I was sad to here the news that Ace Trucking Co will never make a comeback. Not that i ever really expected it too, but seeing it in black & white in this weeks prog brought a tear to my eye. Poor Ace, set adrift in a prison cell by Feek, will never grace our pages again. So long good buddy. Still, i think Ian Gibson would have continued the tradition set down by bellardini, and would have been an excellent choice for a new series.

I agree totally - Ace Trucking never had a proper ending in the way that say the origianl run of Robohunter did.  Ian Gibson would be an inspired chice.  First off, he did one of the very early Ace stories, and secondly, his style is so much more 'cartoony' these days that it would be much better suited to Ace than Dredd.

They should at least do one final story to finish the whole thing off - The 'Free Ace' campaign starts here!

Sign me up, good buddy! I always thought that there never was the correct closure with that story. Okay, that little uffer Feek, put him in prison, but why did GBH go along with it? And what ever happened to Chiefy? Inquiring minds want to know...

Scojo,it's in the letters section! A very well written and imaginative little ditty. Can't claim credit for it though.

Help bring Ace out of dry dock & petition old green bonce for one last series of Ace Trucking Co. Ian Gibson would be such a worthy successor to the late, great Bellardini. Take action now!!!!
