cool ! how did you capture that pic of the footage? caught my good side didn't it.
saddly i didnt see it either cos i just got in the door in the nick of time.. and theres my daughter with a seemingly busted arm, one 6 hour, 150m round trip to A & E, & my moment of glory i missed. Her arm wasnae broken, just kinda crushed in a quad bike accident.
apparently i was startled & stern seeming. ahh well.
Eeep! Sorry to hear about your daught! *Ouch*
Hope she's OK.
If you want to see something really embarrassing, check out the dreadful film "Diana: Her True Story" in which I appear (very briefly) as dress designer David Emmanuel...
I used to have a (male) English teacher who looked just like Evil Edna
in which I appear (very briefly) as dress designer David Emmanuel
Do what???
It's true, I'm in said film. They wanted someone with long hair to swish into the room with the wedding dress. They were shooting it near where I used to live, I was working in a shop and one of the casting guys came in and said "do you want to be in a film?" I was about the right height and had long hair. Saved them getting an actor I suppose as I was just paid as an extra! (well I did wangle an extra tenner a day out of them.
Funniest moment was when Kathy someone or other(Staff? Hardy?) who was playing the queen came out from doing one of her scenes as I was on my way in to swish about with dresses. She said "good luck" to me in the queen's voice, and she had corgis running round at her feet. Well surreal.
Funnily enough no-ones ever asked me to be in a film again...
I want to see Mavis Cruett the fairy again.
Here yah go then Jayzus. I must say I was surprised to hear you say you'd been seeing her though, still whatever takes your fancy eh.
This thread's too wierd for me....

Loved that programme, especially the Mogue, any chane of a pic of him???????
A film star in our midst! You know I'm almost tempted to track this down... almost.

One day (when I live in a bigger house with a garden etc) I will have a dog called The Moog and a cat called Carwash.
It will come to pass. O Yes.
>Is The Whisp on DVD yet????????
Yup, got it at home. Can't remember who's putting them out, but they have gold-ish covers, and the range also includes stuff like the Flumps and other similar kids series' of the 70s/80s...
I've got the Wisp and Flumps ones. They're put out by Cult Kids. They've got Danger Mouse and Chorlton in the same range as well.

well i must say that its strangely fitting that a thread about me being all serious on the news & discussing regional politics should turn into one of cult cartoons.. ah yes indeed you guys have got things sussed. they shouldve put sub-titles up on the report "yes the business rates are shocking & we need sustainable initiatives to blah blah blah" trans= 'the clangers were one of my favorites but willo the wisp was classy too, have you read this weeks prog?' These are the things that matter !!
