I didn't see a recent one to piggyback on, so made a new one. Always a Dredd question or two!
About the Statue of Liberty. Did we see who first blew it up? I just read America II, Fading of the Light. It mentions that "somebody else" blew it up. Did we see that happen, and if so when?
Bonus question, do Dredd's boots that are a bit too tight ever get referenced later on?
And I figure I'll just post some in here if I think if more, and encourage anybody else to post here if they didn't feel like making a new one.
Off the top of my head, so likely to be very wrong...
Did the Statue of Liberty get destroyed either during Inferno (maybe the Statue of Judgement fell on it?), or else that story where they rebuild the Statue of Judgement, I think the Cal Files?
Dredd's tight boots have definitely been referenced a bunch of times since first coming up in 'A Question of Judgement', pretty sure in more than one of the stories collected as 'Brothers of the Blood' - either Dredd himself or maybe Giant recommends the same trick to Rico.

(I think this is from the story Sector House?)
Thanks! Good to know.
I've asked the Statue of Liberty question before, and the general consensus was that it didn't get destroyed at all. John Wagner, as far as I know, admitted to getting things mixed up when he wrote the America sequel, and had misremembered his own MC1 history.
I like to think that the hand with the torch fell off somewhere down the line, and when Benny visits it, the rest of the statue is just off-panel. Even though that was not what was going on in John's head at the time.
