All bets are off at these stage since D'Israeli came through as favourite in a vote against the Droid I thought would be in the final, at least. Having go past Henry Flint can anyone prevent D'Israeli winning? Well actually maybe the astonishing Simon Fraser. Let's find out together.

Alas we have to pick our favourite and to do so just pop the name of the art droid you'd most like to go through to the FINAL!!!!!, but please add anything else you'd like to say as well. It really helps if you use BOLD tags or otherwise make your vote clear.
This one will close and be counted on the morning of Friday 5th February
What the hell is all this? Find out more about the Art Droid Tourneys and Quarter Finals semi finals (https://forums.2000ad.com/index.php?topic=47294.0) - I've not updated this - cos we know what we're doing right. There's a tiny bit more about the Semi's here (https://forums.2000ad.com/index.php?topic=47318.0) but it's mainly just a post about what's coming after...
Who made the 32 in both tourneys?

Anything else just ask and I'll make something up.
This is a close call but this round I will go for D'Israeli
I love Simon's work but the clean lines of his opponent here, often complementing the words of I. Edgington, are too wonderful to ignore. So for me it's D'Israeli.
D'Israeli!
D'Israeli.
Another one for D'Israeli here.
Simon Fraser.
Fraser for me
D'israeli.
F'Raser
D'Israeli
D'Israeli.
D'Israeli!
Difficult choice, but it just has to be Matt Brooker D'Israeli
D'Israeli.
A very hard one this, as I look forward to each of these gentlemen's work with equal enthusiasm. I have to go with Simon Fraser on balance. But it was very close.
SBT
d'israeli
Nikolai Dante will always be up there as one of 2000 AD's very best strips, and it wouldn't have been what it was without Simon Fraser. But for his imagination, ingenuity and constant reinvention, this one has to go with D'Israeli.
D'Israeli
D'Israeli. In colour or in B&W, his art is always consistently great.
It's a tough call, but I'm going Fraser

This is a good summary. D'Israeli for me too. Love the thought that goes into the different techniques he delivers.
A great match-up for me, because despite their very different styles I like almost exactly the same things about both artists: incredible attention to the design of every environment, and instantly distinctive faces. Simon I think just has the edge on depicting people, and Matt on technology. Simon does the best clothes, Matt the best aliens/monsters. Both are superb at communicating completely believable emotions. Both pack their backgrounds with gags and treats that reward re-reading.
Look, they're both wonderful. But D'Israeli's crazily elaborate experimental processes delight me, so I'm going with him.
D'Israeli for pure inventiveness.
I mean the answer is Henry Flint but I'll go for D'israeli whilst hoping Fraser stays around a lot longer.

You are the only one to have got this right so far!

Think I know which way this is going, but can't say 100%. Last day votes could swing this, though it might be to far gone. Either way if you have haven't yet get your vote in today and I'll count up in the morning.
D'Israeli, and D'amn him for knocking out Flint!

Yeah, I was very surprised by this! It would be Flint and MacNeil in the final for me. Not to take anything away from D'Israeli, who got my vote in this round.
D'Israeli is my pick this round.
VOTING CLOSED
Oh so it wasn't that close! The curious thing here
D'Israeli
has gone through against two artists I'd adore and would have voted for and two of my absolute favourites and in some ways I'm kinda glad. Yes I love his work, but yes I mourn the exits of Henry Flint and Simon Fraser, but I love the fact the 2000ad fans - well those on the forum at least - seem to be hailing the different and atypical. This is so fitting for 2000ad. D'Israeli's idiosyncratic style feels like its championing greats like Simon Harrison, John Hickleton and even Kev O'Neill, not cos his art is like their's far from it in fact. The thing they have in common is the very fact their style is like no one else at all. So for that I absolutely salute you...
... for knocking out Simon Fraser as well as Henry Flint however I will be tracking you all down.
If there's one thing in art that's always made 2000 AD stand out against the big guns in the comics world, it's idiosyncrasy. It has a sense of style that's hard to pin down but that's different and can go against the grain. D'Israeli is never going to get massive runs on Superman, but his output is atmospheric and can pack an emotional heft. I've no idea how far he'll go in this, but I'll be hard pressed to vote against him in the final.
Simon Fraser for me - D'israeli is an artist I can appreciate more than enjoy.

I'm too late to vote here, but it's the other way round for me. I don't know what it is, but Simon Fraser has never really clicked with me, even though I can see he's an incredible artist. Mind you, I didn't care for Dante much until the Tsar Wars thing kicked off.
