So... it's the Unofficial 2000AD Forum Sketch Comp #1 Voting Thread!
Please vote for your three favourites, clearly ranking them 1st, 2nd and 3rd. If you want to add an Honorary Mention for anyone's entry, I'll use those in the event of a tie-break situation.
Voting will close end of day Sunday 21st February.
Remember that, in addition to picking the theme for next month's sketch competition, there is a shiny prize on offer — a copy of the 'Here's Johnny' DVD, courtesy of the incredibly generous Woolly!
The entries, in alphabetical order, are...

A huge thank you to everyone who found the time to enter. Now... let the voting commence!
1. Colin YNWA - Southy vs Norty. I'm not familiar with the homage, but it's close enough to Calvin & Hobbes for me!
2. Legendary Shark - Hope. It's just... beautiful, man..
3. Tomwe - Biochip. Because I like it :)
HM - Jim Campbell. Well, c'mon... how couldn't I!
And don't forget - winner get's a DVD of 'Here's Johnny'!
1: Jim Campbell.
2: Bolt 01
3: JBC
HM: Woolly #1
Excellent stuff from everyone, a great First Outing!
1. Jayzus
2. Jim Campbell
3. Colin #2
HM. Shark #4

1 Legendary Shark #1
2 Jim Campbell
3 woolly #1
This is very bleeding tough.
But....
1 - Colin #2. Just realised I know who it's a homage to - he does Dandy and Beano strips too. But like Woolly, my first thought was Calvin and Hobbes. Great stuff.
2 - Jim Campbell. Lovely. Like pre-Crazy-Steve Frank Miller at his best.
3 - Bolt. A nice, chunky war scene with a bit of emotional impact too.
HM - Shark #1. And if the competition was solely based on hitting one in the feels this would be my first choice.
Woolly's Nort is freaking arsom too, but no pont having him send the DVD to himself ;)
1. Legendary Shark #1
2. Jim Campbell
3. Colin YNWA #2
HM Bolt-01
These were all fun to see! Thanks for running this comp, its a fun excuse to pull out the paper and pens.
1 - Colin #2.
2 - Jim Campbell.
3 - Bolt.
1) JBC
2) Jim Campbell
3) Colin #2
HM Shark # 4
Well done to all the entries much braver and talented than me.

Don't let that stop you! It's ideas that win :)
Votes!
1) Legendary Shark #3
2) Colin YNWA #2
3) Jayzus B. Christ
Colin YNWA 2 (Southy vs Norty) - because I'm a massive Jamie Smart fan and this is wonderfully executed
Jayzus B. Christ - amusing and original
Legendary Shark 1 (flower) - says everything about the nature of the war
HM
Tomwe - beautifully rendered
Jim Campbell - lovely use of mono
Norton Canes - grin-inducing
Bolt-01 - looks like a panel from the comic
Also, an awful lot of people in this thread REALLY need to dig into Bunny vs Monkey. It's superb stuff. They've started repackaging the entire run in chunky 256-page paperbacks. ISBN 978-1788451772 is the first of them.

Thanks but I think I'll stick to repurposing model kits to characters/scenes from 2000AD. Almost finished my latest lockdown project. 👍🏻
1st) JBC
2nd) Legendary Shark # 3
3rd) Jim Campbell
1.Legendary Shark.
2.Wooly
3. Jim Campbell
Wth the brief in mind my top picks are:
1 Jim Campbell
2 Shark 2 - the tank one!
3 Tomwe
This has been super tough as there are so many excellent drawings here. But in the end I've decided
1. Legendary Shark 3
2. Jim campbell
3. Tomwe
HM - to Norton Canes and Jayzus B. Christ for getting the theme better than most of us. Woolly (particularly that Nort) for the best actual drawing
Very, very difficult to choose. Based on the postcard theme I'm going for:
1. Legendary Shark 1
2. Norton Canes
3. Jim Campbell
Overall though these are terrific and massive props to all who contributed.
Sorry I missed out on the debut of this new competition. At least I can vote :)
1. Legendary Shark #1
2. Bolt-01
3. Woolly #2
Really like the work on show here with all the entries.
Don't mind me, just bumping the thread...
And don't forget there's a prize for first place!
Great stuff! I'm going with:
1: Shark no 4
2. Jim Campbell
3. Bolt-01
Although I do think Norton Canes deserves an honorary mention! :)
Bumping this thread one final time. Last call for votes before the thread closes at the end of the day — technically midnight, but I'm an old man and will likely be in bed before then. I'll probably lock it first thing Monday morning before tallying the votes up.
1st - Legendary Shark #1: "HOPE"
2nd - Colin YNWA #2: Southy vs. Norty
3rd - Jim Campbell
HM: Norton Canes' Jolly Nort (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Eb_rYbbXsAAqnPL.jpg): "Nu Earth: It's Cheming!" [Always loved the Viz version, which has a special place in my heart as I used to work at the Butlins there.]
