Is there someone who's got a picture of the map of Mega City One????
Haven't got a map of Mega-City One, but I'm working on a map of the Cursed Earth - I've done all the research, it's just a case of actually getting round to drawing the damn thing!
The closest MC1 map I can think of was in the Dredd story 'Bob's Law', which showed a breakdown of the different sectors into North/West/Central etc.
Yes that was the official map, after much of the south and north had been nuked in the Apocalypse war.
There hasn't been a detailed map though.

I've still got Ian Gibsons fantastic map of Mega City One that was created for the Judge Dredd board game. I don't know how accurate it is but if anyone wants it I could scan the two halves and put it together. I'll have to dig it out and mail the results to Wake. Make a cool looking desktop!

Ahhh, the board game. What fond memories. Back in them days there was nothing more satisfying that arresting Judge Death for littering.

Only to have the satifaction quickly turn to rage when some bastard played the Edwin the Confessor card! I can still remember the caption on the card "It was only me!"...
Did you know the original Judge Dredd board game map which you play on, is actually the wrong way designed?
Honest. Don't believe me?
Well if ya got it, take it out. Which side is the black atlantic ocean on?
Should be on the right side of the city, yes?
Er...no, the silly moos put it on the left!
What a mistake to make!
LOL

I loved that game so much, almost to the point of obsession. I even had a system! Eventually though people refused to play me. To be honest they had a point, I even kept a record of all my scores. :) Grudd forgive me.
When these new 28mm figures come out I might see if I can get some for the game and and some of the later perps to the game and give it another play. I think I'd have to add a bit more to the game to give me that same buzz.
I want to be able to get PJ Maybe and maybe add a Psi Rating. Oh and add Genocide as a new crime.
The Littering/Judge Death combo was the classic.
Edwin Parsey! That was even worse when you had just played the Judge Dredd is with you card you had been saving all game on Fink Angel committing murder!
The only controversey we had was whether when you had a 'move a crime two spaces card' you could do it while people were in the middle of a fight. I don't know if any of you guy's can remember enough to have an opinion on that.
You can see that map in the 1985 Judge Dredd Annual. I'd scan it, but I don't want to damage the spine.
Wake,
I think (99% sure) the map is in the Dredd story Bob's Law, prog 355.
You may be able to scan it from there.
