The ties in Week 6 are a bit of a mixed bag. A couple of very interesting ones that are hard to call mixed in with some very lopsided potential batterings and BOTH versions of Bill Savage making an appearance - but which will survive?
Danzig's Inferno is the champion of the mini thrills clash, having taken out Tharg's Alien Invasion in Round 3. It's up against an altogether different calibre of thrill in Chopper, which only had to deal with Straitjacket Fits last round. Will Danzig Inferno become a chopper when it tangles with ... Marlon Shakespeare.

Danzig's Inferno was a great little slice of John Smith weirdness. There shouldn't have been any more Chopper after Song of the Surfer, but that story remains an all-time classic.
Hmmm...big fan of John Smith as I am, for SotS I'm going with Chopper.
On the one hand, I can't remember Danzig's Inferno. On the other, going from "calling him back... to the ancesters" to "thunder me chunder, mate! Dora's up the duff!" in six pages can't be tolerated.

Funnily enough, neither of thise lines of dialogue would be out of place in the two episodes of Danzig's Inferno.
I agree that bad stuff deserves to be punished - but when the good stuff includes Song of the Surfer, Danzig's not the dude to dole out said punishment.

With a day to go the result is pretty clear here I'd say Danzig's run will be short and twisted. You have a day to comment on both before the result tomorrow.

Well not much to say on this on. Danzig was a glorious experiment and a lovely thing to have in the prog to show just how robust Tharg's Organ is in carrying all that come to it. Ultimately though it is an oddity and Chopper is a star who might have had choppy success but does have some real highs and as such its no surprise that
