Yes folks, as the synapses in my brain fused with elcetrochemical energy this evening I wrote a Judge Dredd card game (after looking at the Flesh game). Which I may playtest this week.
However I can not be a*rsed to do the cards properly (pictures from Dredd strips, scanned with rules and text added). And my scanners intermittantly broken.
Any volunteers with excess time, a scanner and a load of old progs?
The same goes for my revised rules for the Judge Dredd boardgame additonal cards and rules.
Can't help i'm afraid but if you ever get either project off the ground i'd be interested.
On the subject of the old board game, i just bought one on eBay and all the nostalgia came flooding in - don't know why i got rid of my original copy.
One thing though - the one i've got has got coloured playing pieces a bit like chess pawns, just like i remember my original being. I'd previously been outbid on another copy of the game and in the photo on eBay the playing pieces were actually Judges. Anyone know whats the deal?
Er... well, that COULD be, if not an earlier edition, an earlier production run and the plastic judges came later. I have had a few copies over the years and haven't see one myself.
If your remember the pawns that must be the case. Mine has little coloured judges, they aren't mind boggling to look at, so I wouldn't be too upset about it.
If I can get my scanner working or get a job and buy a new scanner (where I won't have the time to do it) I'll make the cards for everything myself. I should be looking for a job instead of being here really. But I am sooo bored.
Anyone got and ideas for jobs that an almost thirty year old with half a decent brain, a dodgy degree and a few poxy office skills can do? No prostitution suggestions please.
