Title: Is Henry Flint's art really in colour?
Post by: Thread Zero on 26 January, 2002, 04:13:33 PM
Ever since Mr Flint drew ABC Warriors last year and now Shakara, I've wondered if in fact his art is in colour and then printed in black and white.

All of the backgrounds look like they use a mixture of computer colour.

Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe someone at Rebellion can tell me?

If it is originally in colour, I hope he gets paid the same amount as colour art jobs! Would seems a shame to draw it in colour and then be printed in black and white.

I don't know how these double threads happen.  Sometimes when I'm writing a thread, it all just clicks off and I have to start again.

To me it looks B/W with computer effects to get some of the interesting effects and shading.  For instance where Shakara was getting his mask ripped off looks like it's been fiddled with in photoshop. Even though most of it is drawn in B/W as it's printed in colour for the red eye bit may make it look funny.  Some colour pigment probably is in there somewhere.  Using a full colour process to creat a slightly different black.

Or not.
