I had to work (double time, don't pity me), so set the video to record the double episode.
Of course, the tape cut out in the middle of the second episode! I didn't even get to see Chris Reeve!
Could somebody tell me what happened? I saw it up to the bit where Lana and Chloe were making up with each other. That's 'up' not 'out' I'n sorry to say... ...

While clark and lana are making she sees his family tree and asks him waht it is. He says nothing and throws it at the bin but it falls on the ground. at this time lex walks in and finds the piece of paper.
Lex takes it back to the scientist that is checking the cave. He tells him that it was clark kents. The scientist thinks its nothing, lex shows him the paper with the sign burned on the barn and he is still sceptical.
Clark asks chloe to forgive lana. While at the office checking the computer chloe finds a load of emails for clark from a professor swan(reeve)
The message reads CLARK ( FOLLOWED BY A PIC OF THE SIGN ON THE BARN) HOPE, I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL YOU.
Clark emails back and gets a message with symbols and a message saying that if he can read this that he has the answers that he is looking for.
The scientist goes back to the cave looking at the symbols and finds the key in the rock. He puts it in the socket just like clark did but gets a massive burst of energy that knocks him out. Clark finds him and the key. The scientist ends up in hospital and lex is told that he will never regain consiousness as he suffered from information overload. While lex and clark are at the hospital clarks gets receives a package from a courier. Clark opens the package when hes alone and finds a card with more strange symbols from the professor saying that he wants to meet.
He finds out that professor swan is extremely famous and devotes his life to looking for alien life. Chloe meets lana and they make up.
Clarks parents are sceptical about clark meeting the prof. and they dont want clark to meet him. Clark is determined to go and goes alone.
He goes to metropolis and meets the prof. The prof shows clark a range of symbols on a screen. He tells him that the symbols says this is ka el of krypton his infant son and to protect him.
Clark tells the prof that he is not who he thinks he is and decides to leave. The prof says that if he leaves he will not find out the second part of the message. Clark sees the second message which says 'we will be with you all the days of your life'. Clark sees a map of the stars and asks if this is krypton but thr prof tells him that the planet is gone. Clark asks why me and the prof tells him he must find his own destiny.
Clark goes back home to the spaceship. He meets his father who tells him that he loves him. Clark has what he says is the ships heart in his hand and he knows what it is. He puts it in the ship and the ship opens up to show where he sat when he came to earth and a whole range of symbols appear which is a message from his father telling clark to be a god among men in this 3rd planet from the sun. Clark thinks he is here to conquer earth but his father tells him he is here for the good of the planet.

Yes it was a good episode. Its not the finale. there is another double header next sunday. Jor el wasn't on screen. He was only mentioned in conversation.
Chris reeve was only on screen for 5-6 mins but they played aa bit of the original superman theme.
Iread somewhere that Terence Stamp would be providing the voice of jor el.

..but wouldn't it be great if Stamp was reprising General Zod and just pretending to be Jor El?
The season finale was on E4 on Monday, so should be on real telly in the next couple of weeks... it's a real rollercoaster ending to the season.
