Title: Dredd History - the historian's viewpoint
Post by: davidtobin100 on 30 January, 2002, 12:58:31 AM
I was talking to Wake about contributing and we got the idea of adding mock historical accounts of major Dredd events to Wake's timelines. To this in a reasonably space of time we would need a number of people who are willing to contribute short pices - it reall y isn't much and all of you wanna-be writers out there could possibly get a foot in the door. Any takers????

Sounds interesting. What events, if any, do you have in mind? And would it be limited to just the Dredd stories, or would the chronologically inclusive strips such as 'Disaster 1990 / Invasion', 'The ABC Warriors / Ro-Busters', 'Harlem Heroes / Inferno', etc., get a look-in as well?

Potentially anything...since each synopsis would be tied to a particular story.

Maybe, as long as you include those of us who write for a living.

Oh, other - IT stuff, really. Independent, Guardian, that kind of thing. Interestingly enough, I notice that the site I *used* to work for, The Register, is no. 10 in the 2000AD online readers' faves chart.
