I had to remove the killfile option from the chat room, because it was affecting performance and the room is shakey enough as it is. Killfile still works for the message board, but I realise that wasn't much help to you last night.

Well, I just had to leave in the end, I can't believe I survived as long as I did.  

It was like being trapped in a lift with Ronco's patented gibbering machine and was a thoroughly unpleasant experience.

At least I understand why killfile doesn't work now, next time he starts I'll just give up sooner.

What annoys me is the way he sits there and flaunts it like we dont know.  If he just shut up and got on with it, it would b so bad.  I too had to leave after his umpteenth HINT post.

Id like to say the hint was the equivalent of a sledgehammer and a nut......

Said it before and I'll say it again- the tosser is always here.  I don't really care and don't mind if he wants to contribute something useful, or even just plain old not unpleasant- but the "aha- yes it's ME, you fools" routine is just deeply, *deeply* pathetic.

From his very first post I was suspicious, from his second I was pretty sure, as I suspect most people familiar with him were.

Does this mean he?s going to lose his viewing privileges for the entire site?  I seem to recall that was the threat last time he came marauding in here...

I hadnt been on JEB all day, my current contract has no internet access :(, so Id been reading the board and chatting at the same time.  I hadnt read his posts before his SCOT posts which just fecked me off big time and I decided to go to bed instead.

Just been thinking about the appearance of someone on the message board the other day, if he?s banned from the chat and message board and wake is constantly having to keep his reappearances short why do the moderators of this site still allow him to have a profile page?

Considering that he now has his own website why are they and the profile page still allowed on the site? Personally as we all know his behaviour will never change why doesn?t someone make an executive decision and get rid of them, instead of standing behind the usual comments about he?s a fan of 2000AD so he should have as much right as anyone to put his stuff up here. Wonder how many other ?fans? could exhibit such flagrantly mad, homophobic, sexist and every other bigoted mad category we could think of to do what he does and still have some presence on the site.

Who was it used the analogy of someone being banned from a pub but the barman putting up a big poster of him, taking him pints outside and allowing him to creep back in every now and then wearing a sucession of bad false beards?

Maybe you should suggest this to Wake when he gets back.

Then again, if the general consenus is that the fans of this site DONT want him here in ANY guise then he should probably be removed. I'm half tempted to start a poll - Should all reference to Scojo be removed from this site? Not sure how that would sit.

However, there's nothing about a petition. If you feel as Logan feels then email me offboard.

The only problem with removing all evidence is that newbies will have no idea of what the old-hats are talking about when you (eventually) end up discussing the guy.  I had the same problem ages back when I first came to the site.
But again, the more that someone is discussed, I would guess the more of a thrill they would get and the more they would continue pushing people's buttons.  It feels a little like a crank caller getting a sick (childish?) buzz from the calls they make.
But what do I know?

Oh no he doesn't! The address now generates a 404 error - File not found and gives three possible reasons. I prefer the middle one as being pretty accurate.
